appearance is a beautiful opaque, dense looking bright yellowish orange. Moderate amount of eggshell colored head rests on top. Scent is the exact amount of ripeness you could ever want in the following fruits: peach, pineapple, orange, tangerine. Also there is some bubblegum lurking behind all that, which really excites me as I love that taste. On the taste there is BIG bubblegum, pineapple, peach, and some mint. Great flavors all blended nicely together with some light bitterness behind it and zero hop burn. Mouthfeel is beyond medium but not quite full. Soft and pillowy with an adequate amount of carb. Overall this is a great ipa.

Thick off-white froth... Stellar retention... Exceedingly pale straw color... Uber hazy... The nose is quite seductive and highlights the dank hops... On the palate the hops are dense but not overpowering... Medium bodied, creamy and silky smooth with limited carbonation... Wow, this was fantastic... I may actually be starting to come around on this New England IPA craze... A job well done by Tired Hands...

On-tap at Hops Hill, Brooklyn, NY

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that left lacing on the surface and the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries are present in the nose along with notes of passionfruit.
T: The taste has lots of flavors of gooseberries and citrusy acidity that lingers through the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The taste of this beer is really packed with lots of flavors of gooseberries.

-cloudy pale tap pour with a 1 cm foam cap and a tangerine nose. The flavor is grapefruit and clementine with low to moderate hop bitterness. The mouthfeel is very smooth. The ale is light bodied, yet quite flavorful.

Got in a trade with larryi86. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/30/2019. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky/resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.7%. Overall this is a fantastic NEIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; great soft feel, and not aggressive. Fantastic Galaxy, Simcoe, Columbus profile. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a great balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example as expected.

Pours a murky golden/orange color. 2 finger white frothy head that dissipates into a nice ring of foam around the glass, with good retention.
A nice citrus hop from the galaxy hops. Mango, grapefruit.
Taste - A nice citrus flavor. Same as the nose, mango, grapefruit.
The body is decent and creamy, though with just a slight bite to it from the hops.
Another delicious IPA from Tired Hands.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Dull golden orange pour with thick foamy white head. Outstanding retention and lacing. Sediment at the bottom of the can.

S: Sweet and citrusy. Pungent tropical fruit, grapefruit, and mango.

T.F: Sweet and fruity to start. Grapefruit, Pineapple, papaya, and tangerine. Assertive bitterness for a NEIPA, likely due to the strong Galaxy hops. Really balances out the sweet fruity hop flavors. Balanced and delicious... smooth and creamy on the tongue. Medium bodied. Soft and crushable.

O: An elite NEIPA. One well worth seeking out. Not much else needs to be said.

S - pineapple, grapefruit, cotton candy.

T - sweet orange, pineapple, cotton candy. Sweet through the middle, with sour lime. Low bitterness. Moderate sweetness. Low booziness.

F - medium body and carb.

O - too sweet, but there’s some tasty Galaxy hidden in that sugar.

Pint can dated 09/19/18 - poured into a Stella pint goblet at 42F.

Pours a milky pale blond, with a finger of sticky fluffy white head that gently recedes, leaving a permanent film cap and collar with lace.

Nose is big passionfruit, pineapple and papaya up front. A little bit of ripe mango. Some kiwi. A little bit of earthy dank. Floral.

Palate is grassy, herbaceous, slightly piney hops with vague floral notes here and there. There is a juiciness that plays well with that, and provides a fresh balance to the dankness. For such a hazy beer, there isn't a whole lot of malt character going on though. Very light and delicate - super bone dry with a fairly pronounced bitterness that pops up early and stays strong well into the finish. I'm beginning to think Galaxy is an especially bitter variety of hop, because everything Galaxy I've had has had a fair bitterness to it. The bitterness further pronounces the dryness of this one.

Mouthfeel is shockingly light. Not quite watery, but definitely thin and crisp. This could honestly be a hot summer day drinker. Very drinkable. No fluffy, creamy, or pillowy mouthfeel here. Thin, light, crisp, and very well carbonated.

Overall, this is a very good IPA. It's not my favorite Tired Hands offering, but the bar is set high with them. I would reach for this on a hot summer day, and even buy a 4 pack if I was in the mood for something light and crisp. Almost more of a session IPA, or a hoppy pale ale. I didn't realize how low the ABV was. Been drinking a lot of doubles lately. This is good.

Thank you Jeremy for this can. Cheers!

Another amazing one that needs to be on regular rotation. I know I am crazy for this, but I hope they start canning more beers like these more often and less milkshakes.

super pithy and floral, herbaceous and green, mint, grassy, grapefruit peel and lemon, white gummy bear and fleeting peachy note. smack of subtle bitterness on the finish makes this one soooo crushable. added fermentables make this one sooo soft, just delicious stuff!

Can from a recent swap...murky juice in the looks dept. Nose is galaxy...with a kick. Taste is the same. I'm admittedly not a huge galaxy fan, but this beer i dig. Really nice take on the hop. The oats and wheat seem to make it more palatable for me. Nice one

Thank you CanConPhilly for this
16 oz can, dated 1/5/17, poured into teku

A- A hazy golden straw color with a two finger white head

S- Guava, melons, tropical fruits, citrus, peaches. Nose reminds me a lot of Guava Milkshake.

T- Citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruits, guava, melons, mild malt backbone, slightly dank finish.

M- Smooth, a little creamy, medium body.

O- A great IPA, very fruity. This beer reminds me a lot of Guava Milkshake even though it has no fruit added. Definitely will have to pick this up next time they can it.

Canned 1/5/17. Reviewed 1/26/17.

A: Beer pours a pale gold color with about a finger of mixed consistency head that dissipates rather quickly. Medium-plus to full haze, with very little light passing through the liquid.

S: That signature Tired Hands bubblegum (yeast?) note dominates along with lots of peach, and and some bright, sweet citrus (tangerine, orange). I get something like dried, concentrated strawberries, which I often pick up from Simcoe-hopped beers. The fruit notes are very sweet and candy-like, but the sweetness seems to becoming more from the hops aromatics than from any sort of malt character, which isn't really detectable on the nose.

T: Follows with a ton of sweet stone fruit (peach, nectarine) and a hefty dose of that candied kinda bubblegum-y flavor. A little bready malt appears mid-taste, but it's super light. Citrus is more muted than it was on the nose, but I definitely pick up a subtle tangerine flavor. Finishes somewhat dry with a lingering candied peach note on the finish and very little bitterness... Dryness cleans the palate more than bitterness, as what remains on the mouth is more sweet than bitter.

M: Medium body with a moderate amount of soft carbonation which leads to a slick yet far from thin feel as the beer glides across the tongue. Light grassy bitterness on the finish with a bit of dryness cleans up the taste, offering nice balance to a flavor profile that has a bit more sweetness than one might expect given the ABV.

O: Another excellent Tired Hands IPA. They are up there among my favorite breweries, largely because of how consistently great their beers are. While I've yet to have anything that really blew me away (well, Oblivex was fantastic, but I split a can 4 ways), I haven't had anything I'd rate under a 4.25. And they have a really unique candied fruit / bubblegum flavor in their hoppy beers that is like crack to me.. This one, in particular, is very flavorful and well balanced. I really like the way it fuses Galaxy and Simcoe such that neither really dominates the flavor--they both contribute some delicious elements. It actually kinda reminds me of a lighter version of Curiosity 28 from Tree House; it's not as rich on the taste or as pillowy on the feel, but I'm getting very similar flavors! For the style, there's not much I'd change about this beer, so I'm really digging it!

16 oz can
Pours super over the top clouded lemon in color, lasting off white frothy head.

Pungent Lemon, ripe citrus, bananas on the nose.

More of the same on the palate, dull lemon, bananas, tropical fruit goodness.

Lemony, fruit and tropical hop note forward brew. Lemony juice bomb...happy to try a can or two thanks to my psycho silver can trading buddy the Lung

Beautiful lemon leaning towards gold color we've become accustomed to from NE style ipa's. For the record:Love it. Great smell of pineapple & citrus immediately after cracking the can. Tastes of buttery lactose and Galaxy hops with a hint of booze towards the finish. Mouthfeel is what you would expect- juicy/drippy. Overall= Another home run from Tired Hands. Knocked it out of this galaxy.

Wicked hazy orange hue, big head and great lacing. Aromas are dank, but soft. Notes of orange pulp, dank, mango, pineapple, sweet bread and sugar coated grapefruit. Soft, creamy, dry and easy drinking. Very good IPA, straightforward but very well done.

A 16 oz can from a friend. I split it with my wife. Both of us thought it exceptional. It's one of the most opaque brews either of us has ever encountered which was slightly off putting. The aroma is bright and pleasing fresh hops. I drank it slow to savor every sip. I need to get more of this!

Poured from a 16oz can into a pint glass. Acquired as an extra in a trade.

Pours a very hazy deep orange body with a big white head that reduces slowly to leave spotty lacing.

Aromas are tropical, lots of citrus, lime, grapefruit. On the tongue is citrus, grapefruit, oranges. A little off buttery flavor on the finish. Medium light body with medium low carbonation. Could have used a little more carb.

Solid beer, crushable for sure.

Thanks to my brother for sharing this can -enjoyed chilled in a glass.

The color is deep golden with cloudy look and thick white head with lace that sticks. The smell is tropical with pineapple and a slight dank herbal smell with odors that are floral and fruity with citrus scents dominating. The feel is great oily juicy and tangy fruity with medium carbonation and mild sweetness with light astringent and tangy semi-dry texture as it finishes.

The tasted is exceptional with a good tropical type hop flavor and The Galaxy is very enjoyable in this IPA with its tangy grapefruit and slight pithy orange taste with a slight fruity yeast adding to the overall flavor. The malt is not sweet but the oats add body along with the wheat to support the intense hop profile. This is a great beer I was pleased to share this one -Thanks Tim!

This is a helluva' beer and thanks larryi86. Small growler shared with Kory.
Quite cloudy and a nice frothy head. Very yellow for style.
Classic West Coast IPA aroma with ample amount of fruitiness.
The first thing I noted is the really impressive feel. Soft and full. I guess oats and wheat will provide that. Full hop fruit flavor and and intense bitterness that starts out subtle in the middle and grows in intensity through an extended finish. Minimal sweetness in the malt, yet it's presence is known in the foundation and balance.
Almost didn't notice the carbonation as the feel is so nice that it just blends into the overall goodness.
This is a top notch IPA. The bitterness pushes the limits and at times I wondered about it, but all in all it was just a really well done beer.
