This is a Cabernet Franc barrel-fermented Ale that I brewed with wheat malt at Tired Hands Brewing Company. At this point, Parageusia4 is roughly twelve months old. The yeast used to ferment this beer is a melange of yeast cultured by Tired Hands Brewing Company as well as yeast and bacteria resident to Ardmore, Pennsylvania. I believe that people of this time may refer to my Ale as a "Saison" or perhaps a "Wild Ale". Archaic stylistic descriptions aside, this is an Ale that I find to be very engaging and enjoyable; Bone dry with a bright under-ripe watermelon-like acidity, lush barrel character, and a lively citrusy acidity. Also, it is suitable for indefinite aging into the future.

Pour is dark amber, quite cloudy, foamy white head. Drank next to Sarrasin for comparison. Nose is strong brett, eggy, faint sulfur, grape notes. Flavor is muddled malt, eggy brett, a touch sweet, moderate vinous notes, hints of sulfur, coating syrupy body, a touch heavy, lighter carb.

Poured from a bottle into a teku. Thanks, Franklyn!
Pours a cloudy tangerine apricot color. Super appealing, slightly darker and less bright.
Smell is straight gueuze. Spot on. Includes melon, cantaloupe, and tangerine.
The taste is the balance that lambics strive for. Slightly tart, slightly sweet, perfectly assertive fruit.
Mouthfeel is right there. Refreshing and slightly creamy.
Overall, it's the best beer I've had from Tired Hands. So delicious.
