Poured from a about a four week old can into a snifter glass.

L: A super hazy medium golden color with a huge amount of massive floaties. Classic snow globe effect. Smaller white head and nice full glass lacing.

S: Huge peach (of course) and other stone fruits and tropical fruits with vanilla and some citrus. Slight sweetness is detected.

T: I get a ton of peach on the flavor. Peach mixes with some melon, tropical fruits, slight citrus and loads of creamy vanilla. The sweetness is candied fruit as some slight bitterness seeps in but the tropical fruit and peach finish out the beer with a drying quality. Still, I get some alcohol on the finish, but it's welcomed. This is another great milkshake.

F: Full, smooth as silk, creamy, dry and some alcohol. Beautiful.

O: Well, what else can I say. Each Milkshake or 2X Milkshake I have had has been awesome, and this surely follows suit. So well done, so damn good it's crazy. God how I love the Milkshakes. Keep em coming TH!

Look: super hazy, gorgeous orange with a thick creamy head

Smell: vanilla and peaches with a tropical hop profile.... could use more peach though

Taste: vanilla overtakes most of the flavor, you get a hint of peach and mosaic hops but the vanilla is slightly overpowering.

Feel: light body, light carbonation... stupidly smooth and easy to drink

Overall: could use less vanilla and more peach and hops but overall it's excellent.

Traded for this a while back while on line at Other Half, having a few samples of the Milkshake beers from Tired Hands during previous weekends. The other beers of this style that I had were intriguing so when I obtained a full can of this in a trade, I was interested to see if this would hold up to those standards. Even with the floaties in it, this was still unlike any beer that I had before and so malty and sweet as to be fitting to the name on the can, even if I had a tough time fully pinpointing it!

This had a decent pour as the beer was a dank gold with a *ton* of floaties in it, with a moderate head that quickly settled down. Naturally, there was plenty of the peach puree and sweet malt in the nose with even more in the taste. They were complemented with the Mosaic and Citra hops that fit in well with the peach and vanilla, but had the feeling of orange sherbet. So much sweetness here that the peach, vanilla, and tangerine nearly got overshadowed by it. Lots of dankness here but this didn't taste it and the booze only kicked in once I fully polished off the liquid in my can. The oats and wheat were a saving grace for this beer, giving it body and keeping it from being too one-dimensional while not detracting from the prominent flavors that were expected out of this.

Not a weak beer but not terribly strong, the sweetness ensured that one can would be more than enough for one drinking session. This could come across as one-dimensional to most but for those looking for depth, it certainly was here. Not a standout beer but another brew that made the case for a new category, as this felt nor tasted like a typical IPA. A big reason why I'd love to get more Tired Hands beers into my possession!

Golden with peach highlights and a big white head that settles to a cap and laces well. Notes of young peach, herbal, citrus piths, and under ripe tart tropical fruit. Well carbed, creamy yet refreshing and a touch dry and soft on the finish. It's a great IPA, but I expected a bit more than muddled fruit flavor and soft hop bite.

A- Pours a bright and beautiful golden color in the glass. The head is dense, about 1.5 fingers thick, and just off-white in color. In the body of the beer there are a TON of suspended particles, some of them fairly sizable. It actually looks like a golden, beer version of a milkshake in the glass.

S- As the scent greets the nose, a moderately strong, slightly fruity, hop bitterness is foremost. A touch of citrus kicks in and transitions the scent over to the peaches. The peaches are light in the scent and quickly intermingle with a touch of sweetness on the back end before the smell fades away.

T- Peaches wash across the tongue first and the beer is drank. Lightly tart and mostly sweet, the peaches quickly transition into the lactose sweetness for just a bit. The hops kick in next and start to ramp up the classic, resinous bitterness. The back half of the drink is a combination of the hops bite, fruit, and the lactose sweetness, in that order of prominence. As the drink fades away, the hops are the lingering flavor left on the tongue and continue to grow in strength after the drink ends.

M- While the carbonation in this one is nearly as high as usual for an IPA, the oats and lactose add a thickness and a smoothness to the drink. It drinks just a bit heavier because of this weight and smoothness, but is still very easy to drink.

Overall, this is a very unique take on a fruited IPA. While more and more breweries are fruiting their IPA's, some not with a purpose or for the better, this one is a refreshing change of pace. The addition of the lactose and oats add a component to this beer that puts it in another league of complexity for the style. In the end, a very decent, and immensely unique drink.

Pours out a very hazy golden orange. Not quite as turbid as the others I've tried in the series.

Aroma is a huge burst of bright citrus and tropical fruit. Mango, pineapple, sweet orange, passionfruit, peach, candied fruit notes as well. Not getting the vanilla really or the sweetness I got in the other Milkshake variants.

Taste is also very juicy with citrus and tropical fruit galore. Lots of pineapple, candied orange, candied peach, slightly herbal tasting too, mango, apricot. Vanilla comes through more than in the aroma, but not as strong as in the other variants I've tried. Not really getting the whole milkshake vibe with this one the way I did with the other variants.

Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Kinda refreshing.

Overall, a really tasty and awesome beer but it doesn't compare with the other Milkshake variants I've tried. Seems more like a straight up IPA with a more pronounced bitterness than the others as well.

liked it slightly better than blackberry, but also had the problem with separation 1-2 weeks after canning. prior to separation, this would have been a 4.75 beer
