Notes:
Brewed with all German Pilsner malt and hopped emphatically with Spalter Select from our 2018 German selections. Fermented with our house lager yeast and cold conditioned for five weeks. We brew this beer for Jean’s grandfather, Joseph Trendler, but make enough of it to share with everyone!

Pale straw yellow in color with perfect clarity. Poured with a short, creamy, bright white foam with moderate retention. Medium, clean, pilsner malt aroma with bready notes. No hop aromas. Medium bodied with medium high carbonation and a slick feel. Bready malt and herbal hop flavors with pear fruit notes. Medium, spicy, hop bitterness through the middle that carries to the end. Finished semi-dryly with herbal and lemony bitter hop flavors. Clean aroma. Great malt and hop character and finish. A tasty german lager with a bitter, hoppy character.

16 oz. can into stemware.
Pours a bright somewhat clear yellow color with an inch of white head and moderate carbonation evident. Grass, dough, light floral and citrus notes, earthy malts, and wheat. Light crisp body and low carbonation.
Overall a decent pils; not as hoppy as they describe it.

32 oz growler filled on 8/21 poured into a pint glass
A- A hazy golden straw color with a three finger white head.
S- Floral, some earthy spice, pilsner malts, citrus, some grapefruit.
T- Citrus, earthy spice in the finish, bready malts, some peppercorns, nicely balanced.
M- Smooth, medium body.
O- The first lager I have tried from Tired Hands and it is good one. Citra hops are noticeable but aren't the focus of the beer. Worth seeking out, always love to Tired Hands try different styles.

Got in a BIF from oline73. 16 ounce can into signature tulip glass, canned on 8/31/2016. Pours hazy golden straw color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, cracker, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance of citrus/earthy hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, cracker, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, citrus peel, pepper, pine, cracker, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/grainy/sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.6%. Overall this is an awesome Kellerbier. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass.
Pours a mostly clear straw color with a healthy 2 fingers of bright white head. Not much retention but leaves a fair bit of lacing.
The aroma is all pilsner malt up front; bready and subtly sweet, followed by a wave of orange citrus and rindy lemon zest. The back end is quite grassy with some very subtle notes of honey wheat and grains. Aroma is on point for the style.
The flavor is a bit more yeasty than expected. Lots of dough and wheat with some subtle hints of citrus on the finish.
The feel is about right. Lighter in body with lively, prickly carbonation. Very crisp.
Overall, a pretty damn good pilsner. The flavor is lacking a bit but this is still a great summer beer and a solid representation of the style.
