Saison brewed with a whole lot of malted oats and NY wildflower honey. Fermented and conditioned in one of our large French oak foudres for over three months. Brewed in collaboration with our good friends at @otherhalfnyc.

Thanks to alefish for this 500ML bottle with light purple waxing & parchment-style label. Split with my wife.
The top pops & the bottle begins to slowly fizz over; ribald carbonation. The pour yellow, pale & opaque, & I pour just a touch too much. A few globs of brown, shit-colored yeast mar the surface & slowly move to congeal around the edges. Not very appealing. The nose is yeast & wood.
Oat Potion is supremely mild. Wildflower honey, lemon zest, strong yeast greet my innards. The yeast - oh, whatever it is, it’s overpowering & distracting. Oak plays strong back-up, lending needed depth & drier than your driest dry hump. Lick of tartness right on the end. Easy to drink.
Weirdly good & dull simultaneously, the oak saves this from anonymity. Decent enough.
