This saison was exceptional. This is one of the most drinkable saisons I have ever tasted. I would crush these on a regular basis if they were readily available to me. Awesome oakiness. It has a tartness imparted by the oats that I really can't get enough of. . Love it and want some more of it

From 09/13/15 notes. 8 oz. pour on tap at the Fermentaria in Ardmore, PA.

Pours a hazy, medium yellow color with one inch of bright white head and moderate carbonation evident. Honey, citrus, white wine, brett, oranges, oak, sour tart fruits. Medium body and low carbonation. Honeysuckle, wheat, floral notes, earthy notes.

Overall I thought this was really awesome; this was the surprise of the day for me and might have been best in show. It is surprisingly tart and funky; I was not expecting that and can't believe there isn't brett in this. Talking to the bartender, he said it was all due to the wildflower used to brew this, and said the NY wildflower was very different from the PA wildflower they've used in the past. Highly recommend this one.

Poured from a 32 oz growler filled last week. Really nice foedre-fermented farmhouse-style ale. Excellent mouthfeel from the oats and nice tartness from the oak fermentation.

A nice tart taste with a smooth finish. Pours a cloudy golden blonde with great head.

My first saison ever and it didn't disappoint.

The look was a bright yellow with a nice head. Tons of carbonation. The smell is so fruity. For me it gave off a wine smell but for others it was apple juice or other juice like characteristics. The taste was basically like a sour apple, just great. I don't know what to expect for feel since it was my first but it was nice, didn't linger too long on the sour and you can taste most flavors.

Overall just a great beer.

Bottle purchased at release last Sunday. I must say that the releases are much more enjoyable these days, no real need to get there early. Show up 30 mins after opening and you pretty much walk in and purchase bottles.

Poured into a large snifter. Look- pours hazy yellow with an impressive white head that shows some bubbles throughout as it starts to settle. Good lacing as well. Off to a good start. Smell- Tart, with some wheat and spice, a little bit of pepper and coriander. Taste - very good, tartness with some mellowness from the honey which takes on a bit of sweetness to balance the tart. Has a wonderful wheat taste from the oats. Really a nice blend with depth and presence to all ingredients. Feel- for me the most enjoyable part of the beer. Very full even creamy sensation. This was really good. Overall- I would have to say that there is nothing that stands out as needing improvement. Quaffable for sure. I will keep the remaining bottles for a summer day for happy hour on the deck at the beach. Well done all around, a winner
