Canned 10/11/16; drank 11/2/16 @ the Yarchives.

Drank straight from the can; no visual cues.

Guava, watermelon, fresh apple & soft vanilla notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Fresh ganja, guava & watermelon flavors up front; soft vanilla & blood orange notes on the finish.

Fruity, soft & pleasantly dry; a treat!

Picked-up as part of a trade with Tiredfootsies. My second brew from these guys. I hope that they begin distribution to Massachusetts. This was delicious, look forward to trying again when I am in the era.

Poured from fresh can to tulip glass.

An orange-yellow with about the double "haze" appearance as Alien Church/typical NEIPAs.

Smell of melony fruit is pungent, bordering on overwhelming.

Guava-melony goodness from start to finish. Didnt get any hints of coconut as advertised, but I think i prefer it that way. Vanilla throughout but predominately on the back end.

Typical lactose beer as far as feel.

Great overall, I was hesitant due to the coconut. Couldn't drink a ton in one sitting but definitely regret going one 4 pack instead of 2.

Hazy deep golden, medium white head, nice lacing. Aromas of soft tropical fruit and peppy citrus hops. Notes of sticky guava, lush pineapple, creamy vanilla and subtle citrus pith. Creamy, full and lightly dry. Despite its age this really popped. Stands out for its uniqueness but shines for its execution.

Poured from a can into a tulip glass. Got this at the brewery about 5 weeks ago.

L: A medium murky golden color, but clearer than the typical milkshake beers from TH. A nice two finger white head sits atop. Full glass lacing the recedes.

S: Guava (of course), melon, mango vanilla, graham cracker and some slight grassy smells.

T: Wow, I had one of these the day after the release and was a bit disappointed, but no more! The tropical fruits are spectacular with guava, pineapple, melon and peach. A slight hint of grass and maybe some floral flavors? The fruits mix with the big vanilla creaminess and the graham cracker sweetness that carries the beer all the way through to the end. Slight sweetness stays on the finish but it still remains pretty dry. Awesome.

F: Medium mouthfeel that is creamy, but again not as creamy as other milkshakes, still delicious. Slight alcohol, nice carbonation and a fairly dry finish.

O: Another winner of a beer from Tired Hands! This milkshake is a little less murky and creamy than others, but it still represents the milkshake name very well. This brewery never ceases to amaze me as they pump out these spectacular IPAs and the spectacular milkshake lineup. No disappointments here! Fantastic.

This one is peculiar but i find it oddly appealing. Not amazing or even repeatable but oddly tasty. Pours like your typical pale ale. The nose i can't figure out. Lucious, smooth, mouthfeel.
And the taste is much like the nose...undescribeable for me. If thats guava, fine. I don't know. Creamy smooth vanilla and guava? Whatever, its good.

What's this, Tired Hands made a clear milkshake? This goes against everything I believe in!

Appearance is gold-yellow, and yes, almost completely transparent, with very little head.

Smell is buttery herbal bubblegum with lime and guava.

Odd but tasty, I get saltwater taffy and grass. This one is more bitter than others, with some dryness that follows, but overall is not as flavorful as I'd imagined.

Shouts out to my plug u/runninhomebrew. Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Smells like fruit cobbler. Very sweet beer. Verging on thin in terms of mouthfeel. Lots of vanilla and honeydew upfront, getting more of the guava now that it's warmed up a bit. Having tried Hophands and Alien Church and not been blown away, this is the kind of brew that separates Tired Hands from the rest of the pack.

Poured into a teku, only 2 weeks old. Golden, orange, not much head and not as hazy or milkshake like in appearance as I imagined. Aroma is guava, grapefruit, vanilla, and maybe some Graham cracker.
Taste matches, but is even more impressive. Mouthfeel is phenomenal, full body, silky, tropical, guava, melon.
Delicious conversation beer.

Pours mostly clear and straw-gold, very little head. Smells like ice cream! Milky, vanilla, sweet, and fruity. I've never smelled a beer quite like this one. Sweet taste, again fruit, milk, and vanilla, a little resinous on the back with mild bitterness. When you breathe after swallowing you get more guava. A little warming from the alcohol, it starts thick and creamy but the finish is more dry than I expected. Moderately fizzy. Very interesting beer!

From a 16oz can purchased at the TH can release last week. Less cloudy than many TH brews, this one is an almost clear, golden yellow. The nose is a tad subdued, but the flavor is terrific: some guava sweetness but very much in the background. And still plenty of bitterness on the finish. TH continues to outperform.

16 oz can, dated 10/11/16, poured into a teku

A- An almost clear golden straw color with a two finger white head.

S- Sweet guava, some vanilla, melons, some tropical fruits, some dank hops.

T- Guava, leans to the sweet side, some citrus and tropical, touch of vanilla, bitter resiny/dank hops in the finish.

S-Smooth, medium body.

O- The most IPA like milkshake I've tried taste wise, but it still has all the great fruit qualities I love in the milkshakes. Nose kind of reminds me of Double Watermelon but more bitter. Easy drinking and very drinkable.

Growler filled on Thursday at the Brewcafe. This is my first Milkshake IPA and it is excellent. As with all of the Tired Hands fruited IPAs, the fruit flavor is present, but not overpowering, and perfectly balanced with the citrusy hops.

Poured out as a very hazy yellow color, definitely a very milky looking beer. The smell of the beer has a good amount of hoppy aromas along with some of the guava coming through also. The feel is creamy. Overall it's an interesting beer to say the least, I did enjoy it but is on the fence of actually being an IPA or not.
