thanks to my brother for sharing this growler enjoyed chilled in a glass.

The color is a hazy golden with quick to drop white head. The smell is intensely hoppy -like crushing hops in your hands fresh from picking. The feel is decent with moderate carbonation and low sweetness and dry finish.

The taste is good with moderately resinous hops with a citrus flavor with moderately malty middle with light toasted, nutty quality and finish is a mix of hops with dry aspect. This is a very heavily dry hopped version of the original beer which is great, especially if you like Mosaic

Straight pour from a 32oz flip-top growler to a 10oz, stemmed tasting glass. Hop Hands dry-hopped with Mosaic, eh? Sounds lovely. Growler was filled two days ago at the TH Fermentaria in Ardmore, PA. Fresh as hell.

Appearance (5.0): This pours with three fingers of cream-colored, bubbly foam capping a cloudy, pale straw-colored body. The head dies down at a fairly slow rate, leaving a cascade of lacy collars linked by fluffy legs of webbing. As the beer goes on, the lacing and collars on this sucker are out of this world—this really is basically perfect, in my mind.

Smell (5.0): Straight-up passionfruit with grassy, vinous hints of gooseberry, filled out with a light, sweet, starchy malt aroma along the lines of honeyed, floury biscuits. It’s got a fantastic floral undertone that smells just like a great NZ Sauv Blanc. This is outstanding—I could hardly think of a better hop aroma.

Taste (4.25): Not as fruity as the nose, but it retains a lot of the same Mosaic/Sauv Blanc-type grassy, passionfruit-ish tones. Light peach and passionfruit lead the way, followed by floral and later very grassy flavors that wipe away the tropical fruit and underlying crackery, dry biscuit-like malt body. The finish feels like it’s 80% grassy and 20% pithy, and completely wipes away any evidence of the malt. This makes the whole thing insanely drinkable, though—a moderate wave of tropical fruit, followed by some understated but nicely balanced, slightly sweet malt, and finally everything wiped clean by strongly grassy, pithy, but never astringent or even particularly bitter hops.

Mouthfeel (4.25): Subtle carbonation props up a smooth, medium-weight body with a somewhat creamy texture. That same fine carbonation crops up with a moderately sharp tingle before completely washing out. It starts smooth and slightly oily, lightens up in the middle, and dries out pretty thoroughly just before it washes out.

Overall (4.5): This has an aroma that’s out of this world, and its appearance is essentially perfect, as well. Beyond that, the flavor and feel are both beautiful and thoroughly enjoyable, even if they don’t cover any new ground or blow it out of the water. But they’re on point for the style and more than satisfy expectations—they’re both excellent. This is an outstanding beer.

A - Pours a very hazy/opaque pale tan/orange color with a thick, thin, white lacing ring.

S - Lots of tropical fruit, namely: passion fruit. Ripe, juicy, some resiny, vinous fruit.

T - Bursting with tropical fruit from start to finish - juicy mango, lemons, passion fruit, slight herbal character with a lingering bitter pine finish. Coats the mouth with a vinous layer of juicy mango. There is also a biscuity and delicate spiciness as well.

M - Big medium body with light prickly carbonation, very dry finish, coats the mouth with a cotton-like sensation.

O - This pale ale is nicely done.

This one doesn't deliver for the massive amount of hops that went into it. It's not a sep up from Hop Hands, in fact it's a little vegetal and the body is too thin to prop up the fruity, earthy hops.

Full pourbat CK with Lisa. Another weird tasting IPA from TH. How do they mess up Mosaic?

Pour is haze pale yellow with a white head. Nose has a high resin, bitter aroma, some biscuity malt, hints of citrus. Flavor is a bit washed out and hops have little focus. Super resinous hop, moderate bitterness, not the normal juicy mosaic hop i love. Aggressive carb, full body, slightly syrupy, fairly dry finish.

Can. Light hazy yellow pour with white lacing. Aromas have herbal, grassy, citrus, mosaic notes. Flavors are nice, light mosaic driven and very drinkable. Want to go back to the well again and again for this one
