Canned on 2/5/2020. Poured into a Willi Becher glass. It pours an opaque, dirty tangerine color with a large, creamy, billowy bright white head and thick lacing that resembles gelato. It's a beautiful pour! The nose is fruity and floral. There is lemon, lime, mango, pineapple, grape, and a whiff of vanilla. There are also flowery notes that remind me of being in a greenhouse. The taste is equally fantastic. There is plush, soft, creamy tropical fruit, along with slightly tart lemon and grapefruit. The Motueka hops really shine. But the influence of the Nelson hops is felt in the dry white wine notes. All these flavors wrap around an oat base the provides creamy sweetness. The flavors blend seamlessly and compliment each other very well. The feel is rich and thick with moderate carbonation and it is highly drinkable despite its 8.3% ABV. Punge manages to achieve a lot: it's juicy but creamy; lots of sweetness balanced by white wine. It's complex and super fun to drink. It has many of the characteristics of Tired Hands' Milkshake IPAs but I like it a lot better.

Looks like a hazy pineapple juice with two fingers of creamy crown.
The nose brings pineapple, slight peaches and citrus. There’s a sweetness as well, but not too much.
The taste brings in those layers once again. Mango, pineapple. Touch of sweetness that works great.
Creamy, smooth all the way through.
I really enjoy this.

Creamy, frothy head, that slides down the glass without a trace. Aroma is smooth, sweet notes of peaches, ripe tangerine, and pineapple. Flavor is similar, but with some dank resin vibes, and more citrus, and a little boozy vanilla. Body's juicy and luscious, milky from the oats, and goes down nicely, but has an enjoyable about of substance. Really like this one, a prime example of what I look for in a hazy DIPA.

Creamy, juicy, hazy looking. Pineapple colored. 3 1/2 finger white, very frothy head. Head retention is excellent. Nice foam lacing on the glass.
The nose is nice and full of hops. Some citrus, just can't separate the aromas.
Taste is a sticky, hop shower. Pineapple, mango, grapefruit.
Very sticky bodied. Full figured.
Another delicious IPA from Tired Hands.

Got in a trade with laryi86. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/14/2019. Pours opaquely hazy bright green color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Amazing appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, passion fruit, red apple, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, passion fruit, red apple, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, passion fruit, red apple, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an amazing malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.3%, with zero lingering hop burn after the finish. Overall this is an amazing NEDIPA! All around amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/resinous/drying finish; amazingly soft/silky feel. Amazing Nelson Sauvin and Motueka profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A highly amazing offering, and world class style example.

Traded for this a while ago, as the date on the bottom of the can read 11/8/17 with "PUNGE" written underneath that. Thankfully, all of the sediment stayed in the can as I saw it once I cleaned it out as this beer was not quite what I expected from a New England IPA. Full and balanced, this was quite easy to enjoy given the amount of alcohol in it as the smoothness of it turned out to be this beer's hallmark!

Quite a hazy look to this as it was on par with the higher-rated offerings from Tired Hands. The muted peach appearance let in a bit of light around the edges as it was topped off with a moderately fast-settling head. Most of the lacing the remained as I worked my way through this was on the lower half of my pint glass in the form of thick rings along the back half. Lots of tropical mango and papaya in the nose as the soft hops quietly shone through. Sticky nectar, oats, and booze came through in the taste as this was quite mellow and smooth for having a decent amount of alcohol in it. An earthy dankness bordering on weed emerged as this fully warmed up as this pungent beer lived up to it's moniker!

A decent amount of alcohol was in this and the body was balanced, if not particularly memorable. Some slick resin coated my palate once this went down as I enjoyed how full and subtly slick it felt. Not the best from Tired Hands but it was a different take on the style and sure to please those looking for something not completely unfiltered and typical from a beer brewed in these parts. Worth a go once for the appeal factor!

Can dated 11/14/18. Poured into Belgian tulip.
Look is a dense light yellow-orange haze with a fluffy white head. Nose is lots of awesome Nelson white grape and pine in the background with some tropical stuff playing along nicely. Taste follows with more of the tropical fruit coming through, finish is medium dry, lingering tropical fruit and white grape. Mouthfeel is the usual tired hands thick but fluffy. Overall amazing brew. Beautiful balance in nose and taste and great mouthfeel. Great stuff.

New can from a recent swap. Juicy murk visual with a frothy head. sweat sock stink hop. Taste is way more syrup hop. More candy than anything else. Little overly sweet. Not bad but in today's world of a billion amazing ipas this is a pass. Too sweet, not enough quickness and the body is syrupy without fullness.

The look is a pastel yellow-orange. It spreads light fairly evenly, although it doesn't quite "glow." Small amount of fine head.

Smell is overwhelmingly orange, namely sweet orange juice concentrate. I get a little lactic stimulation, as well, but it's closest to butter. With all that good stuff going on, it's still not as intense as it could be.

The orange gets joined by some down-the-middle white grapefruit, but there's a savory earthiness – call it sweet wood
– that is the main event. Some moss is in there. Intensity is way higher than what's I get with the nose. I had a burger about an hour ago, and it makes a nice digesif for that. Bitterness is light-medium, sweetness is light, and savoriness is medium. It's also a bit herbal, especially tarragon.

It's very easy drinking. Not prickly. Aftertaste is pretty much right in line with that taste, minus the fruit.

From 16oz can purchased at the TH can release on Nov 20. Pours a hazy, apricot-yellow with a notable foamy head. Citrus and melon notes on the nose. Similar taste profile with a little creaminess reminiscent of TH's milkshake IPA series. The higher abv is notable with some alcohol heat on the finish. Double IPAs are not my favorite, but this one is very good indeed. Better than Heady Topper for me.

This is my new Heady Topper beater. Had side-by-side with HT and Sip of Sunshine. All three have that nice, soft mouthfeel from the use of wheat, but this beer just has something a little bit creamier and more milkshake-like thing going on.

What a wonderful beer, full of tropical tasting hops that remind me of clementine, tangerine, and canteloupe.

Perfectly carbonated. The only issue is the beer loses carbonation fast as it warms up. Drink it quickly before it warms up and loses its amazingness

L: Hazy yellow with a small head
S: I get huge orange right away with some lemon, lime, grapefruit and pineapple later. Pure bright citrusy nose.
T: Follow the nose and as it warms more lime notes start to show themselves. Barely bitter at all, mostly citrus.
MF: Soft medium mouthfeel. Definitely heavier for an IPA. Leaves you wanting more though.
O: This was my first foray into the "Juice" style IPAs and it didn't disappoint. Couldn't drink this all the time, but its definitely an awesome beer.

Fresh can, poured into snifter.

Look: Lots of haze, yellow, orange, foamy head that settles fairly quickly into ring around the glass.

Smell: Earthy, dank, floral, with a backing of tropical fruit sweetness.

Taste: The tropical fruits are there, but they are a bit overpowered by a big push of citrus up front. Lots of rind, juice, and a tad of grapefruit bitterness.

Feel: Moderate level of carbonation, medium body. Feels balanced, not light on the tongue.

Overall: Pretty good. I don't thing it all comes together into balance, but still an above average brew. The aroma is there, the flavors seem to be fighting each other a bit.

16 oz can. Cloudy yellow pour, thin white head fades to a thin film, spotty lace. Aroma is a combination of fruit, floral notes, white wine. Taste is similar, light malt sweetness with grapes and fruity hops, touch of oniony peppery zest in the dry finish. Thin to medium slick soft mouthfeel. This one was good, different, on the earthy wine peppery side, glad I have a couple more.

Pours a completely murky yellowish gold color with a huge creamy white head. The head refuses to go away and leaves a ton of soapy lacing.

The aroma is dank and slightly floral, with plenty of sweet tropical notes. There's a good amount of grass as well.

The flavor is a citrus bomb. I get lots of lime and grapefruit, as well as some orange rind. I also get some sweeter melon and fresh mango flavors.

The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Super smooth and creamy.

Overall, a fantastic DIPA. There's not a whole lot of malt present, but the flavors themselves are nicely balanced between sweet and bitter. It's dank, citrusy, and tropical, with a nice, thick mouthfeel. Excellent beer.
