Also known as Milkshake IPA

IPA brewed with oats and lactose sugar. Fermented atop strawberries (a high pectin fruit) and vanilla beans. Hopped intensely with Mosaic and Citra. We also added wheat flour and 50 lbs of local apples (a high pectin fruit) to the boil. Brewed in collaboration with Omnipollo.

Canned 1/11/23

Having a hard time understanding the appeal of this one. The hops aromas are enticing as I pour, lots of mango, pineapple, and other tropical fruits. Strawberries are faint and a bit of a place. On the palate, the strawberries are slightly more noticeable but even more out of place. They come across as a weird distraction. This just isn't for me.

Honestly was underwhelmed with this one having seen the 95 score. I think it's a pretty standard milkshake ipa in which the taste falls short of the aroma.

A - Opaque light golden tan color with thin, dense white lacing and no carbonation.

S - Strawberry, vanilla, and light citrus.

T - Strawberry, vanilla, citrus and some lactose. Ends on the sweeter side with subtle citrus bitterness.

M - Pillowy soft and a little bit chewy.

O - Yep, tastes like a strawberry milkshake alright!

Strawberry is often a difficult flavor to translate into beer, but this nails it. Delicious, creamy, and fruity.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Hazed golden pink pour with big fluffy white head. Great lacing.

S: Strawberries, citrus, and vanilla.

T.F: Semi-sweet and fruity up front. Definite strawberry... tangerine/citrus, mango, apple peel, grass, lactose, and vanilla. It has a bit of tang as well. Medium bodied and smooth. Strawberry jam and citrus to finish.

O: A world-class milkshake IPA and one of Tired Hands originals. One to seek out.
