I have tried most of the Tired Hands bottles that have been released over the past two years. Most are good to very good with a few that are truly tremendous (Oat Potion is one). I really liked Rustic Pentagram. Tart, but not sour, great soft mouthfeel, and a subtle mango flavor. Tired Hands nailed it with this one.

Wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. I dig the saisons coming out of TH, but rarely think to myself: yeah, that was worth the price of entry. And at $25 a bottle, I fully expected the price to quality ratio to be horrible with this one. Man was I wrong. This is a quality bottle. Not $25 worth in quality given other breweries who produce equally killer beers at much lower price points, but no serious butt hurt dropping the dough on this one.
Saison feels like a stretch. This ventures into AWA territory, with perfect soft, and clean acidity (not talking bad AWA with rip roaring ethyl acetate/acetic acid issues, nor are we talking brett driven).
The mango is there, but in the background. Comes out in the long finish, and lingers for a bit. A touch of sweetness helps with the acidity.
Very nice beer. TH has a winner with this one, if they choose to make it a regular offering.

4 oz. pour on tap at the Fermentaria. Hazy yellow with a thin white head.
Sour lemon and mango on the nose.
Starts quite tart and lemony but tapers into softer mango. Refreshing and creative. A touch over-sour, but the mango steps in to reign things in.
Overall, tasty.

Bright golden yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Notes of underripe mango, tart lemons, light funk and oak. Crisp, lighter medium body, soft on the pallete, leaves a drying tart finish. Overall a very interesting sour take on the style.
