Notes:
Our Imperial Stout. Single-Origin Coffee Only Void was cold conditioned on heavy amounts of our Awake Minds Ethiopian coffee (roasted by our pals at @reanimatorcoffee) for many moons. The result is a complex and luscious reimagining of one of our most dark and devastating beers.

I haven't had much from Tired Hands but "Only Void with coffee, Ethiopian coffee" was a truly delicious Imperial Stout.
Look: black, with an inch thick mocca colored head
Aroma: nice aroma, roasted malts, coffee, berries.
Taste: The flavor is roasted malts, coffee with a hint of tart berries and chocolate.
Body/Overall: medium to full body

Pours black. Aroma is mainly coffee with a bit of chocolate. The taste is more complex with the coffee, chocolate, caramel and malts. Full bodied.

Look is pitch black (void-like) and poured with 2 fingers of dark tan head. Not much lacing at all.
Aroma is mainly expresso. There is a faint hint of bittersweet chocolate and vanilla but coffee is clearly the focus.
Taste is Quite a bit busier than the nose. Dark roast coffee , an almost berry-ness (I assume from the coffee), a nuttiness of sorts and maybe a kiss of vanilla.
Feel is hard to pin down. It’s full and slick yet somehow also comes across as creamy. Carb is moderate but barely. It’s very soft and smooth.
Overall a very nice coffee stout. I was taken by surprise with the peanut buttery taste coming through. I’m not sure which coffee they used but it’s definately a fruity variety.

Pours a rich, motor oil black with red and brown hues. A thick finger of dark tan head that settles into a thin film fairly quickly. Very modest lacing.
Nice coffee and chocolate in the nose, with hints of umami, tobacco leaf, leather and peanut butter.
Similar tasting with a little caramel malt and light berry fruitiness added to the mix and a moderate bitterness and coffee acidity lingering in the aftertaste.
Thick-bodied, chewy feel.
A nice cool-weather beer. Reminds me a bit of a higher-caliber chocolate peanut butter bar.

Can dated 10/09/17. Poured into a 16 oz Treehouse snifter.
Pour is dark motor oil with a considerable 1 finger dark mocha head that fades away to nothing. Not much in the way of lacing either.
Nose is straight dark roasted coffee with a touch of burn coffee grounds. Smells just a bit acidic as well from the use of the coffee. Maybe a touch of vanilla flirting around the sides.
Taste is straightforward coffee and relatively drying. A touch of umami takes over the palate but nothing else much. A bit of dark chocolate and cacao nibs, but coffee is the main star in this beer.
Mouthfeel is nice and thick. Medium minus carbonation, just the way I like it with big stouts.
Overall, a nice coffee stout, but doesn't stand out among the masses. Coffee flavor still holding nicely after 3.5 months with a satisfying mouthfeel. Thanks Tired Hand for their continued excellence.
