From a 16oz can purchased at last week's TH can release. Other recent reviews captured this beer well. It is as smooth a double IPA as I have had; the heat of the alcohol is well-hidden. Simply delicious and another example of how TH excels. Impressive!

Murky turbid golden yellow, ring of white head and some lace. Smell is full of big fruity hops, like an orange creamsicle, pineapple, orange and mango juice, a faint suggestion of malt but mostly a tropical fruit bomb. Taste is just like the nose, big creamsicle and pineapple and mango juice, lightly bitter but the hop flavour is intense, dry and fruity into the finish, long orange and tropical aftertaste. Lightly carbonated, medium full body, creamy, mouth coating and satisfying. Incredible, top notch DIPA with zero evidence of alcohol here.

Pours a hazy golden, you know the drill. Some pine and tangerine aroma. Soft and well rounded with grassiness, a little less citrus than you'd want, and an all around dull flavor profile. There's nothing that really stands out about it and what you're left with is an underwhelming flavor to begin with.

A voluminous lush crisp white head... Excellent retention... A very pale gold color and certainly hazy... Gobs of lacing cling to the glass... The noise is sweet and juicy but not overpowering... As expected... The palate is full of citrus goodness... Some sugary notes as well... Medium bodied... Slightly Dense... Moderate Carbonation... Super sleek and super smooth... Outstanding... I love me a Simcoe focused single-hop brew and this one does not disappoint... Highly recommended - They nailed it and I absolutely love this beer...

16oz can dated 8/8/18.

Pours cloudy yellow with a fluffy head of white. Nice retention and lacing. Pine, grapefruit, and oranges in the nose. Medium bodied with a creamy, soft mouthfeel. Mango and orange on the palate with zero malt and a minimal bitterness. Finishes dry and slightly dank with lingering piney citrus.

Nicely balanced for such a hop-bomb.

16 oz. can acquired in a trade - Tired Hands products not available in my area. This one has some unusual and imaginative label art and side commentary. I don't know much about Spelt grains but I do know Simcoe hops and it seems like the combination has produced a somewhat unique product with an aroma and taste strongly emphasizing citrus orange. Very smooth with minimal bitterness. The alcohol was well hidden for a Double IPA. The label doesn't provide information relative to the ABV and, upon investigating, I was surprised it was as high as 8%.

The beer pours a hazy, almost murky golden amber color with light lacing and fairly decent head retention. The beer looks like a glass of fresh squeezed OJ.

While I've certainly seen better looking IPA's, it's pretty hard to find much fault on the nose or palate. There is an impressive aroma of orange and grapefruit citrus, coulped with considerable mango, papaya, golden peach and cherry. Some underlying earthiness only adds to the attractive aroma profile. The flavor profile is more of the same, but seemed even more complex. There deemed to be some sweet pear as well on the palate, all of which is nicely balanced by some noticeable bitterness on the finish. It seemed to me as if there was a hint of alcoholic bite at the very end, but whatever... This is an impressive, easy to appreciate, well crafted IPA from the talented folks at Tired Hands.

Very, very impressive.

Poured into a Tire Hands glass a very nice cloudy yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy/foamy three-finger white head, which also leaves some really nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, with some maltyness, very citrusy (orange, tangerine, pineapple, mango), very nice diesel like. The taste is hoppy, malty, citrusy complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, mango), very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV is hidden very well. a nice complex of citrus, with a very nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a very tasty DIPA from TH. Very Addictive! Glad to have had a chance to try it. Thanks Larry Again!

Thanks so much to my brother, tenderbranson69 for gifting me with this can, poured chilled into a tired hands goblet.

The color is a pale golden with cloudy smoothie-like thick appearance with thin white head with fine bead. The smell is very fruity with tropical and herbal hop aromas with a slight grapefruit-like scent of simcoe with sweet malt accent. The feel is great lots of hop resins with mild bitterness that builds and mild sweetness with moderate carbonation and semi-dry finish. The alcohol is almost undetectable in the feel.

The taste starts tangy with fruity flavors that have a moderately strong citrus lemon-like flavor with a slight lemongrass herbal quality yet the tropical taste of grapefruit zest completes the taste with gentle dank herb in the back with malt sweetness balancing the brews flavor and taming the hops a bit. There is a subtle astringency with the hop flavor but it does not really show til halfway through. Overall I loved this a tasty Imperial IPA in the N.E. style mostly hop flavor and not a lot of bitterness but it is not overly sweet either. The part that is impressive is that I did not know it was 8%, very drinkable.
