Fermented in stainless and then laid down in the nicest Bourbon barrels we could find for over one year.

Poured from a growler at a bottle share last night.
The pours a dark, viscous blackish brown color with very light lacing, but pretty good head retention. This beer has the look of brew that has seen considerable barrel aging. That's confirmed on the nose, as I picked up a huge aroma of bourbon, vanilla and dark chocolate, with some light coffee and hint of sherry (light oxidation would be my guess for this) as well. The beer smells great, but the bourbon is so over the top (in a good way), that it pretty much dominates everything else. The flavor profile replicates the nose in this rich, fairly sweet beer, but the bourbon isn't quite as overwhelming. There's a lot more coffee in the flavor profile, and everything just seems to be in better proportion (though the bourbon flavor and dark chocolate still dominate). Carbonation is fairly low in this beer, but it works well with the flavor profile. As a result, mouthfeel is very full, soft and plush, with a very long finish. Alcohol is well integrated into the flavor profile (would have to guess the abv. is in the 12% to 13% range), and there's no heat, bite or heaviness in the finish.
Definitely a treat to try this bad boy. Thanks Derek!

Growler shared by Nick the other night, thanks man.
This one pours a dark deep black, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
Smells like vanilla, chocolate, rich bourbon, dark fruit, tobacco, marshmallow, and a little bit of caramel. Smells super tantalizing.
Tired Hands absolutely knocked this one out of the park. It's so rich, silky, and decadent, lots of great stout flavors here. Tons of chocolate, and little bit of coffee, with very slight roasted malt. There's also some earthy tobacco, dark fruit, tons of marshmallow, maybe a little bit of sweet caramel, oak, and sweet and silky bourbon. The bourbon is well integrated, and doesn't add any sort of booziness to the proceedings, which is great.
This is not super thick, but it's definitely not thin. It's silky, and super smooth, with a lower level of carbonation.
This is really great- Tired Hands really nailed this one.
