Double IPA that we brew with gobs of spelt and oats. Hopped into oblivion with Citra and Amarillo. Featuring absolutely beautiful artwork by @mikeillustrated. Creamy, pungent, and extremely citrusy. Welcome back you old, creepy, weird, bio-corpse thing.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip. Awesome artwork

L: Hazed light golden pour with thick fluffy white head. Great retention and lacing.

S: Stone fruit, citrus, and floral notes. Big time juicy hops.

T.F: Fruity juicy hops. Sweet up front. Peach and stone fruit... citrus, pineapple, and mango. Lighter floral notes and melon. Modest bitterness... creamy and sticky on the tongue. ABV hidden but will sneak up on you. More juice and cream at the finish.

O: Another outstanding Tired Hands IPA. Superb.

Poured from a 16-oz can into pint glass in March 2022. There was a brewed date on the label of 3/3/2022. I bought this at the brewpub and drank this less about 1 week after purchase.

Appearance: Deep gold color with huge white head. It is a bright and has a very hazy complexion, like other New England IPAs. Head is very thick, and it lasts a minute time, leaving a small covering. There is a medium amount of lacing on the glass.

Smell: The aroma filled the room while the beer was being poured. Strong aroma of citrus, pine, and hops, as well as some sweetness like pineapple. Also, a little earthy or straw aroma. Overall, the citrus aroma dominates the other aromas.

Taste: Sweet taste with a strong bitter hops edge. There is also a nice malt sweetness as well. There is a typical hops and citrus flavor, but with some sweetness as well. This is bitter like most other New England IPAs, but it is very well-balanced. Has a very nice after-taste that lasts a long time. Overall a nice balance and very drinkable.

Mouthfeel: Medium-Strong bodied, which makes this very drinkable. Strong alcohol, which matches the 9.2% listed.

This is a very good and interesting IPA. It has a nice mix of citrus, grapefruit, hops, malt, and other flavors, which makes it enjoyable. I like the overall balance, and that the citrus flavors are pronounced but do not dominate the flavor. It has more of a hop edge than many other IPAs. This would be a good IPA to drink often.

This Oblivex along with Tired Hands Alien Church are two of my favorite IPAs along with the Dogfish 90 Minute and 120 Minute IPAs, Victory's DirtWolf, Sierra Nevada's Hoptimum, and Troeg's Perpetual IPA. This is in my top 5 for IPAs, and I will definitely buy this again.

16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 12/28/21, so 3-4 weeks old.

Looks splendid in the glass. Hazy orange body with a strong white head. Layers of lacing.

Nice mixed aroma. A little citrus, slightly dank.

On tasting, warming from the abv. The orange notes come in about halfway through. A little dankness. Soft at first, bitey later. Overall, delicious.

Mouth almost full. Finish faintly bitter but mostly citrus and smooth.

Overall, a really tasty and complex dipa. Grabbed the last 4-pack off the shelf. Good move.

16 oz can.

Pours a hazy golden orange color with 2 fingers of sudsy white head. Very little retention. Leaves some sticky cobwebs around the glass.

The aroma is exploding with fresh peach and peach gummies, as well as pineapple and orange. Slightly dank and herbaceous.

The flavor follows the nose with lots of peach, orange and pineapple. There's a lot of vegetal, green hop flavors as well.

The feel is medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. Creamy and chewy, lightly boozy.

Overall, a very good double NEIPA. It's pretty straightforward for the style, but is quite pungent and surprisingly drinkable despite the ABV and booze warmth. Would definitely have this one again.

16oz can, dated 06.22.2020, poured into a stemless wine glass.

The beer pours a bright golden straw color, honey and orange hues with a nice hazy and turbid complexion with a foamy white head, two fingers tall that has excellent retention and lacing. The aroma is nice, assertive alcohol and sweet yeast, citrus, freshly cut grass, wildflower, pineapple and some pale dough. The flavors are good, lots of pale dough and fusel alcohol right away with some sweet yeast, juicy grapefruit and orange, light mango, fresh cut grass and dank weediness with a lightly bitter bite. The mouthfeel is good, coating and creamy with enough crisp carbonation that leads to a dry and warm finish.

Verdict: A nice NEIPA from Tired Hands. Big and boozy and shows all the 9.2% but it's got a nice depth of flavor and doesn't lose too much of the delicate qualities that make this style so nice.

Pours a stunning opaque peach-hued orange color that pushes a vibrant white cap nearly 3 fingers high. Solid retention.
Aroma begins with a burst of citrus just like when you peel the rind away from an overly mature orange. Zesty orange and tangerine tap out for some slightly pithy grapefruit, a slight dank note, and a gentle herbal spice.
Taste follows the aroma's debut astutely. The bountiful citrus wash starts but still makes plenty of room for the sweet creamy grain notes. A follow of more subtle mango and peach notes tapers off to a smooth warm bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, fluffy, nicely carbonated. Gently warm on the finish.
Overall, I love this one.

Dark creamsicle orange in color with an opaque appearance. Poured with a moderate, creamy white foam with medium low retention. Citrus orange, over ripe pineapple, and peach aromas with malty notes beneath. Medium bodied with medium light carbonation. Lush, creamy, almost chewy feel with mellow warmth that got a little prickly at the finish. Light citrus, peach, and fruity flavors with solid maltiness. Medium light bitterness is followed by expanding booziness through to the end. Finished with tapering booze followed by light citrus orange notes. Sweet and fruity is balanced by mellow malt and booziness. Very tasty.

Opaque, pulpy, dark orange body. Big head production, with nearly 3 fingers of snow white head from a moderate pour. Retention and lacing are equally impressive. No visible floaties.

Big, bright, and juicy hop-forward nose. Mandarin orange, Italian herbs, mango, and pineapple. Minimal pungent dankness, surprising for this hop blend. Very mild but flavorful nose.

Surprisingly low sweetness, with the hop profile coming across more leafy and green, along with accents of citrus and mango. Peppered cracker and white bread.

Creamy and lively; very smooth. Fantastic presentation of a sky-high ABV.
