This Bubble Tea IPA is part of an ongoing dialogue with our wonderful friends at Half Acre Beer in Chicago and inspired by the starchy, milky teas of the far east. Brewed with oats, taro root, lactose sugar and tapioca starch and then dry hopped with Equinox and Jasmine Green tea.

Had on-tap at the fermentarium.
L: Cloudy light golden pour. Thick foamy white head and great lacing.
S: Sweet grainy malts... tropical fruits... herbal.
T/F: Sweet and juicy... good malt presence and really smooth on the mouthfeel. The tapioca gives it a richness that I wasn't expecting, and it's a typical Tired Hands juicebomb on the hops. Great grapefruit and pineapple. Not bitter for the amount of hops. Great mouthfeel... some of the green tea at the finish.
O: An awesome IPA from Tired Hands... different enough to be interesting but clearly a Tired Hands style juice bomb IPA. Very glad I got to try it.

The smell is somewhat indescribable. It is like the smell of a nicely fragranced hippy girl that just had some mildly dank bong water spilled on her. It is a lovely smell, like something Keller Williams would write a song about. The taste is like what you would expect if you brewed an amazing UPS using fragrant bong water that was accented with a sweet perfume. It is just delightful for a Sunshine Daydream kind of day.

On tap at Fermentaria
Looks like the palest crazy hazy yellow juice bomb I've ever seen
Very mild nose for a 6% IPA.
The green tea leaves an aftertaste that's new for me.
Different, and not in a bad way...
