750 ml bottle.

Look: Straw colored, hazy bordering on cloudy. Not a particularly good look for a lager, which is supposed to be clear.

Smell: Smell is a little skunky. Malts definitely stand out in the nose, but the citrus and hops don't quite mesh in the aroma.

Taste: The look was, frankly, expected based on prior experience with Tired Hands beer, but thankfully the slightly off-putting aroma was not indicative of the flavor. This is an excellent tasting pilsener; the citrus and hops which just don't smell quite right blend beautifully together, and the bready pilsener malt comes through bigly as well.

Feel: This has that very distinct "snap" that I want in a good pilsener, and which very few seem to manage. This is definitely closer to a Czech-style pils than anything, with the snappy feel and relatively gentle hopping.

Overall: This beer just works. I'm still not over the fact that Tired Hands makes cloudy, dull-looking lagers, but they never disappoint and this one is exemplary. Simple, clean, and elegant, every element of this comes together to create a wonderful taste and superb mouthfeel. Really a top-notch brew from the folks at Tired Hands. Well done!

750 ml bomber poured into a Tired Hands pint glass. First purchase in the general store. Pilsner style, raw and malted wheat, Hallertau and Crystal hops, conditioned with lemon juice.

L - opaque yellow color, haaaazy, super fluffy white head, light lacing

S - lemon juice, pilsner/wheat malt, sauvignon blanc/earthy notes

T - Pilsner malt crisp, wheat malt soft, pine/earthy bitterness, slight citrus, yeast bite, straw character. Malty but just as hoppy

F - light medium in body, firm bitterness, clean and crisp

O - very glad to see this at the general store, had it in draft a while back and thought it was very good. Always something good from this place

Grabbed a bottle at the Tired Hands store. Description sounded great, but I got too much sulphur in the nose. I was hoping for cleaner flavors, but this came out muddled. Love the brewery but can't recommend $10 on this.

Pours a pale, milky yellow with a thin, frothy head. Nose expresses citrus and skunk. Taste expresses sour mash and noble hops. Mouthfeel is light and lively. All and all, a solid lager but a little skunky.

Poured from a 750ml bottle into a snifter glass.

L: A pale yellow murky color with a two finger white head. Not a ton of glass lacing.

S: Sour and funk come out with some heavy fruit and grassy notes. Getting lots of lemon.

T: The fruit of lemon and green apple mix with some grass, straw, hay and some funkiness. Sweetness is underlying that mixes with the tartness. Finish has a bit of metallic flavor that yields to tart barnyard funk. Clean and crisp drynesss. I am getting some sort of aftertaste that lingers, maybe it's the tartness.

F: Really light mouthfeel, crisp, clean and no alcohol whatsoever. I get a funny lingering aftertaste too.

O: I've heard really good things about this beer, and I walked by it a bunch of times so I figured it was time I try it. Honestly, not my favorite bottle offering from them, just something about it I was not digging. Still. solid and drinkable.

From draft at TH. Pours the lightest of pale yellows with little haze. A delicious, light lager. Crisp and refreshing. The perfect low-abv lager to quaff on a hot summer day.

On tap at Tired Hands Fermentaria.

Pours a clear light yellow with fine, soft foam.

Smell is bright and citrusy with notes of wheat and a bit of yeast.

Taste is crisp and citrusy, almost a little bit tart. Very easy to drink with mild, floral bitterness.

Mouthfeel is thin to medium, well carbonated.

Overall, a very nice lager, great palate cleanser.

Slightly hazy yellow little head
Smell strong citrus notes slightly malty
Taste light refreshing and delicate with lemon finish and slightly sweet white grape notes
Light refreshing feel in mouth
Overall not a bad lager. I think this would be best while sitting on a porch swing enjoying the sun setting.
