Notes:
Refreshing is our late summer months, forget-about-the-impending-cold, always refreshing Thirst Quencher Double IPA! Brewed with heaps of malted oats and intensely refreshingly hopped and dry hopped with Galaxy, Citra, and Lemondrop! Lots of key lime, drippy sweet mango, and kalamansi gumballs in this batch. It’s just real pungent, drippy sappy juicy, and well... Refreshing!

Pours a cloudy, cream-hued light orange with a finger of dense, off-white foam head. Good retention and thick lacing.
Citrus (clementine, lime, tangerine) and melon dominate the nose at first, soon joined by some cream and cut grass.
Interesting mix of flavors: cream, citrus, grass, herbs and a hint of mineral water.
Thick, creamy feel with some tight, prickly carbonation.
Tasty, refreshing beverage with nice grassy elements and a remarkable mouthfeel.

16 oz can, dated 5/3/17, poured into a teku
A- A hazy bright golden straw with a two finger white head.
S- Citrus, tropical fruits, lemons zest, lemon, some grapefruit, pineapple, lemon grass, something a little leafy.
T- Citrus, lemon zest, tropical fruits, some pineapple, lemon grass, a little dank.
M- Smooth, fairly light body.
O- A good amount of Galaxy hops but not super abrasive. Kind surprised that it is fairly refreshing for a hazy DIPA, does not drink like a DIPA.

How an NEIPA should be. Tree House thick. Hazy and almost opaque. Lots of bitterness, but with inescapable fruit on the front end. Absolutely outstanding - thanks Eli!

Big thaks to Jeremy for this can.
Pint can dated 8/30/18 - poured into a tulip at 44F.
Pours a murky, milky, opaque pale orange/yellow. Fluffy two-finger head rests atop, with great staying power, and some good lacing.
Nose is hard to tell on this one. The can is a little old, and it has that stale yeast aroma going on in the background. I get sweaty socks (the yeast), slight fishy (yeast), some dank, some stale mango and pineapple, and a green, herbaceous note.
Palate: luckily, the effects of age are mostly limited to the nose. I can tell by the taste that it's not fresh, but it's much better than the nose led me to believe. Mango, papaya, pineapple, pine resin, berries, some citrus - leaning slightly orange over grapefruit. Pomelo, if we're splitting hairs. Maybe some lemon-lime too. Sweet crackery malt foundation, juicy, fruity, and slightly dank/earthy hops, sigmature TH ultra expressive yeast (a bit past its prime), with a kiss of bitterness at the end to dry it up a little.
Mouthfeel on this is medium to medium/full bodied, with a nice creaminess about it. Fine and qdequate carbonation is also very Tired Hands. Blindfolded, between the flavor and feel, I would know this is a Tired Hands beer.
Overall, ignoring that this can is a little bit past its prime, this is really good stuff. I don't know if I would call a double IPA "refreshing", but man, for an 8% DIPA, this goes down so well. As refreshing as you could possibly get for this kind of beer. Scary drinkable.

From can. Really hazy yellow color with off-white head. Aroma is grassy, slightly minty, herbal with a touch of fennel. Taste is sweet at first with grassy hops but more tropical on the finish. Medium, dry bitterness. Full bodied, smooth carbonation.

Hazy light golden with a big head and great lacing. Aromas of fruit and dank. Notes of citrus, pineapple, orange marmalade and tropical medley. Soft, light yet substantial, crushable despite the ABV. Be careful with this, great flavor and highly drinkable make for an amazing DIPA.
