SEHT is a spelt saison that was brewed in January of 2017. Built from a base of barley and spelt malts, and a touch of raw wheat. Hopped with a heavy hand of Simcoe and fermented in a large oak foudre with our favorite mixed culture and then rested in the foudre for one year.

Poured from a corked bomber into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Slightly cloudy light golden amber pour. 2 fingers of fizzy white head leave decent lacing.
S: Tart and funky mixed with fruit. Smells like a Tired Hands saison.
T.F: Tart and fruity. Unripened fruit... apricot and oak. Grape, pear, lemongrass, green apple skin, and a little spice. Some funk mixed in Medium to light bodied... fizzy carbonation. Funky fruit finish.
O: A pretty typical tart/funky Tired Hands saison. If you like the style you'll really enjoy this brew.

Shared by Darrell. Thanks man!
Hazy, light yellow body with a small white cap. Aromas of oak, grass, citrus, floral hops. Tart and hoppy. Assertive, bold, intriguing. Nicely done.
