Thanks to thebeers for this one from his ninja box during NBS BIF #8. 16oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a fully turbid and murky mustard yellow color with over an inch of white head that had great retention and light lacing.
Lots of fruit aroma escaped the can when cracked, mostly orange-pineapple from the glass. Same on the tongue, soft fruit, but there was a bit of tart citrus on the finish.
The body was the by-now-expected medium-light of the style. But, the beer had great carbonation which helped both the flavors and drinkability. Overall, a pretty nice brew for the style. If you like Murkbombs, this is probably a must hit for you.

Look is a hazy dark grapefruit juice. Poured with 1.5 fingers of bright white head.
Aroma is huge grapefruit and citrus (lemon) and some floral creeping in the background.
Taste follows nose. Impressive lemon coming through.
Feel is full and sticky.
Overall this is a fantastic DIPA. Really well done and I’m grateful for @thebeers for the opportunity to try it!

Spotted Lanternfly pours a turbid, pale gold hue with a brilliant white head. The aromatics present fresh floral notes and what can only be described as some sort of citrus cake. Perhaps that of Tired Hand’s self-described “lemon cake”. Refreshing flavors of slightly sour mango and tart grapefruit permeate the DIPA with a supporting cast of expressive floral notes that might be self-proclaimed lilac. Surprisingly, I’ve never thought to try a mouthful of the purple plant so I’m not quite sure. Regardless, the flavor profile on this brew is stellar. Even when you’re finished with a pint Lanternfly’s pleasantly subtle, fruity aftertaste will have you yearning for more. It has a smooth and creamy mouthfeel as well as medium booze character with mild bitterness that is pleasantly restrained for a double.

Pours a cloudy, creamy-looking yellow-orange color with two fingers of antique white head that leave thick, webbed lacing.
Grapefruit, lemon, peach, a definite herbal note and a little white pepper in the nose.
Big, in-your-face DIPA booze and fruit flavors in the taste. More grapefruit, some mango, lemon hard candies and strong alcohol. Screwdriver-like finish — but with 60% grapefruit juice instead of just orange juice, and a heavy pour of Smirnoff.
Medium bodied with strong carbonation.
Sweetness, citrus-tinted bitterness and booze battle it out in this one. I like a beer that doesn’t mess around.
