DDH Alien Church is the intensely amplified & totally fuzzed out iteration of our Reptoid Alien with Photosynthesizing Tongue Oat IPA. Brewed with the same fluffy malted oats as always, and hopped, again as always! super aggressively with Cascade and Columbus. Dry hopped first with the same huge dose of the choicest Citra, Mosaic, and Chinook we’ve come to love and then blasted over the skull with the heaviest of hands with a mountain of even more Citra and additional tropical & punchy & hyper fresh Galaxy for the secondary dry hopping.

This is just phenomenal, maybe my favorite hoppy beers by TH (at least that I can bring to memory). Love how lean and precise this is - it’s almost a little thin but it’s just aroma upon aroma and tons of complexity on the palate. Not a lot getting in the way of pure hop expression. Just tightly executed with no flab, minimal
sweetness (hints of tropical fruit) and a little bitterness on the finish tidying things up. Good stuff.

Cloudy banana-peel colored with two fingers of dense, tan-tinted head. Great retention and thick rings of lacing.
Lovely citrus, white pepper, tropical flowers and jungle rot in the nose.
Sweet, creamy vanilla and orange up front in the taste. Pith, grass and dankness mix to produce some light bitterness in the finish.
Very creamy feel with strong, tight, zippy carbonation.
A very tasty, well-made NEIPA. And the dry-hopping actually adds to the base rather than ridiculously overpowering it.

Pours an opaque orange color. Surprised by the massive head for a slightly aggressive pour. Smell is dank and tropical. Taste pretty much follows the nose but has an absolutely beautiful resinous pine flavor as well, which is what sets this beer apart for me. I don’t know if I’ve had a better IPA in this style. Tired Hands never disappoints
