Notes: An adaptation of our house four grain Saison, Ourison, which is brewed with barley, oats, wheat, and rye, and lightly hopped with US varietals. After primary fermentation in a large oak foudre with our Magickal Saison yeast, this beer was secondarily fermented on Marionberries while our house cultures worked their magic. Refermented in the bottle for natural carbonation.

Pours a ruddy, purple-brown color with two fingers of blue-tinted head that quickly settle into a wisp and crown. Very little lacing.

Creamy marionberries stand out in the nose, with some light wood and a light, yogurt-like sour twang. Smells like pie.

That creamy, lightly sour berry carries over to the taste, again with some light wood, and a modest burst of juice in the finish.

Soft, medium bodied feel with nice, lively carbonation.

Great use of fruit in this one — tempered by that sour, yogurty character. Love it.
