Progressively hopped with the all-mighty Simcoe. Conditioned on heaps of fresh mango.

Deep gold, almost orange color, substantial mouthfeel. On first sips, the mango flavor comes on strong. But then, Simcoe bite blends beautifully with tropical fruit, for an enjoyable if not complex New England style IPA. Tired Hands manages to keep the mango sweetness subliminal, but toward the end of the glass, the most brief sweetness becomes prominent, and magically disappears. Beautifully crafted!

Canned 9/28/16; drank 10/13/16 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dull yellow/orange appearance.
Nice off-white head; decent lace.
Mango, vanilla, banana & apple notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Mango & banana flavors up front; dry, bitter orange rind notes on the finish.
This smelled good but was WAY too bitter to enjoy.

This is a very nice and hoppy IPA with just about enough fruitiness to make it complex and refreshing. Smooth mouthfeel and a nice and long bitterness.

Enjoyed at the 2016 Copenhagen Beer Festival in Boston, MA. Reviewed from notes.
A - Poured a hazy golden hue with a thin white head that faded somewhat quickly to leave a thin blanket.
S - Aromas of muted hops, super super faint tropical notes and surprisingly light mango. Thought this would be far more assertive than it actually was.
T - Taste unfortunately is similar to the nose. The hops are solid enough albeit light. Little bit of generic tropical fruit, mango notes themselves are actually rather faint.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, alcohol hidden well, slightly creamy.
O - Overall this was a somewhat disappointing beer. Really expected a much more aggressive beer here and this was not it.

Poured from tap at the Brew Cafe into a pint glass.
L: A hazy light to medium golden color with a huge white head and huge glass lacing. Not super cloudy which sort of suprised me.
S: Tropical fruits and mango just come wafting out. Not picking up any sweetness on the nose.
T: Wow, loads of mango, guava, pineapple, tropical fruits along with some lemon and lime. Ever so slight candied sweetness that mixes with the huge fruit flavors. Finish is creamy smooth with a little bitterness. Dry finish as the fruit flavors linger. Nice.
F: Creamy, nice carbonation, no alcohol and a medium overall feel.
O: I heard the cans of this were not great, but on draft yersterday it was spectacular. I bought a growler so I'll revisit it in a few days but I expect to get the same opinion. Great beer.

SUPER cloudy and golden/straw color, peachy whit head. Smell is mango and maybe a hint of pineapple, definitely ripe fruit. Sharp bubble up front followed by a smooth, creamy, luxurious texture. Taste is mango and juicy, a little bubblegum on the back, some rind bitterness. The bitterness gets sharper as you work your way through, it started out tasting better than it does at the end.
