Growler poured into a Tired Hands wine stem.
Pour: Bright, hazy golden orange with three fingers of foamy, thick white head. Lots of sticky lacing, and the head retains for most of the glass.
Smell: Big spicy yeast notes up front, and a touch of earthy funk. Some dank floral and grassy notes, as well a a touch of bright citrus. Lots of bready yeast.
Taste: Very similar to the nose, but with a bigger presence of citrus. Lots of earthy funk. Some stone fruits. A bit of white pepper. Finishes with stone fruits and earthy funk.
Mouthfeel: Lightly bitter. Mildly drinkable due to the heavy brett influence, but refreshing nonetheless.
Overall: Another excellent Tired Hands offering. I wish I had more access to the Darwin series.
