I appreciate tenderbranson69 sharing this, enjoyed chilled from the growler in a stemmed glass.

The color is golden and clarity hazed with thick white head and fine bead. The aroma is very strong with hops lots of fruit and slight grapefruit odor with light creamy honey smell. The feel is bitter up front w/ light juicy and resinous texture with moderate carbonation and mild sweetness with light astringency in the dry finish.

The taste is tangy with fruity quality and slight creamy yeast adds to the complexity with some herbal notes and grapefruit quality from the hops with a grassy herbal and overbrewed tea-like astringency with slight honey adding to the feel more than taste with gentle drying effect in the finish. This is more or less like most TH IPA's that have no fruit-tons of hops with an almost raw hop aggressiveness, drinkable in small doses for me.

8 oz. pour on tap at the brewery poured into their flute-like glass, unknown brewing but released date on Sun., 04/13/2014, drank over 30 minutes

A: 2/3 - light yellow-orange coloration; little clarity (cannot read through); small white bubbles coming off the bottom of the glass and emerge into a finger head remaining throughout the drinking

S: 8/12 - a mix of Simcoe-ish aroma - citrus, light pine and resin - with some honey and light malts; no alcohol; no flaws

T: 15/20 - in the front of the mouth, there's a slight bitterness that opens the remaining hop flavors - again, some slight pine, mango and peach; very mild malt backbone in the middle of the mouth - soft dough/bready flavors - with floral honey; no detectable alcohol

M: 4/5 - high carbonation (perhaps too much for style); moderate body; moderate hop oils from Simcoe; high drinkability

O: 7/10 - as I drink more Tired Hands IPAs, I see less and less distinction with their saisons - bright yellow coloration, hazy, moderate hops, low malt, low ABV, high drinkability; while this is fine in-and-of itself on the palate, I think that they should be better distinguished styles; I would encourage more low lovibond Crystal, i.e. C10-20, or Munich/Vienna specialty malt for a light toast character; also, although they claimed that it was "intensely" hopped with Simcoe, it was moderately hoppy at best for an American IPA

First had: on tap at Tired Hands

Have I ever mentioned that I love Simcoe? Because I do.

Hazy golden-yellow pour, with a nice fluffy cap of white head that retained well and left sheets of lacing on the glass. Full, fresh Simcoe aroma, lemon, grapefruit, pine resin, all things good. This was reflected in the taste, clean, fresh, bright, lemon, pine needles, distant biscuity pale malt base. Quite similar to their Single Hop saison, understandably, but I liked this one much better actually. Mouthfeel was crisp and smooth, body was light to light-medium, drinkability was tremendous. Very good overall.

From 04/12/14 notes. 32 oz. growler that was filled at the brewery 4-5 hours earlier. Poured into a pint glass...no carbonation problems whatsoever. My suggestion is to drink TH growlers the day they are filled and you will have no problems, otherwise you are gambling.

a - Pours a deep yellow color with one inch of white head and moderate carbonation evident. Looks pretty good.

s - Smells of citrus hops, floral hops, citra, tropical fruits, very light pine hops, fruity malts, grass, and earthy malts. Nice citrus up front, pretty good.

t - Tastes of citra hops, tons of oranges and citrus, floral hops, lemon zest, grass, grapefruit, light mangos and tropical fruits, and light resin. A step up from the nose; more hops and more oranges and citrus. Great taste.

m - Medium body and low to moderate carbonation, with no bitterness. Very juicy body.

o - Overall a very good IPA from them; I preferred the Second Level with galaxy hops and the Such Passion to this one, but an easy drinking IPA that has bits and pieces of those beers in it. Lots of citrus and light tropical fruits, well worth seeking out and I had no problem taking down the growler.
