Brewed with oats and a plethora of specialty malts. Conditioned on a copious amount of Espresso beans from One Village Coffee.

Growler fill at Tired Hands, poured into a Tired Hands stem glass. Pours deep dark brown with a mocha colored head. Head dies down to just a ring on the edge. Nothing too exciting here.

Excellent coffee aroma. Smells like a creamy cappuccino. Pretty rich, with notes of vanilla, cookie dough, and unripened banana.

Medium bodied, full flavored. Coffee is present, obviously, but is also on top of a very smooth, creamy body. Makes me think of an oatmeal stout. Lingering roasted flavor in the finish and aftertaste. Not overdone. Dark chocolate notes. Soft body, light texture. Perfect carbonation.

Whatever this is (coffee porter, coffee oatmeal stout, coffee brown ale) it succeeds in being a tasty, drinkable coffee beer. After a healthy glass I feel a light buzz, maybe from the alcohol maybe from the caffeine. It tastes very fresh and I'm happy that I got myself a growler.

thanks to tenderbranson69 for sharing this, enjoyed from the growler chilled in a teku.

The color is black with no light passing through the head is medium brown with retention that comes and goes. The smell is lightly sweet with earthy odor of coffee and roasted malt. The feel is good, not heavy, yet has moderate carbonation and low sweetness with gentle roast texture.

The flavor is somewhat toasted with some malty foundation and moderately high coffee presence with slight sweet cocoa elements and smooth nutty flavors accenting with mild bitterness for the style. I was very pleased with the flavor and would definitely order this again if the opportunity presented itself.
