First had: on tap at TH

Dark brown color, slightly translucent at the edges, with a small tan head that receded to a ringlet; spotty lacing. Nice coffee bean aroma, roasty dark malts, a touch of milk chocolate. Nice smooth coffee in the taste, not too bitter or stiff, dark malts, creamy sweetness (lactose in there?), light milk chocolate. Mouthfeel was smooth, body was about medium, not as rich as you'd expect from an oatmeal stout, but still pretty velvety, even at the somewhat too-cold temperature at which it was served; fleshed out a bit as it warmed. Overall quite nice. Stouts don't seem to be Tired Hands forte, but this probably the best one they've made so far.

32 oz growler, filled yesterday at Tired Hands, poured into a snifter.

A- Pours black with a finger of creamy khaki head, leaves some nice lacing.

S- Very nice aroma of coffee, also some milk and dark chocolate and roasted malt. Smells pretty nice.

T- Nice coffee again, a bit of dark chocolate and roasted grain. Has a nice coffee bitterness and milk chocolate flavor towards the finish. This tastes nice, but seems a bit muted.

M- Medium-bodied, has a smooth, but quite thin feel, even for 6.60%.

O- A fairly average stout. The coffee character itself is quite nice, but it isn't as bold in the aroma as I might like, and the flavors and feel are a bit thin and muted.
