First had: on tap at TH

Clearish orange-brown pour with a small, dense white cap of foam that retained well and left soapy lacing on the glass. Nice dose of citrus rind and pine in the nose, notes of bready malts in the background. Juicy citrus hops in the taste, orange blossom, pine, musty grass, pineapple, bready malts, honey. Good until the finish, when a rather uncomfortable hit of acetone kicked in. An uncommon off-flavor for Tired Hands beers...hmm. Body was light-medium, pretty smooth and dry, but the solvent kick kept me from getting any more than one pour. Still good, still drinkable, just not great to other TH IPAs/DIPAs. Fortunately plenty of St.Oner remained!!!

On-tap at Tired Hands.

A- Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color, topped with a bit of white head, leaves nice lacing.

S- Loads of hops, tropical fruit, a bit of pine, some sweet maltiness with a bit of spice from the rye. Smells very tasty.

T- Great hop character, lots of tropical fruit, pine, some dank earthiness, orange. The malt is a bit sweet with some caramel and honey.

M- Medium-bodied, smooth feel, dry finish.

O- A really nice DIPA, as dreadnaught noted, this reminds me of some of the better West-Coast takes on the style, the dank, fruity hops are really killer.

Growler purchased from tired hands brewery yesterday, had this on tap as well, a very nice beer!

It pours a nice standard shimmering golden orange that isn't too hazy and has only a small ring of head and some decent detailed lacing left on the glass.

The smell hits you right away with some spicy sweet fruit notes: tropical fruits, rye malt, tangerine, slight honey plant aromas. It reminds me a bit of an alpine beer without the real weed/pine smells to it (little less complex hoppiness). Very nice!

The taste is great, it has a nice simple honey laced malt base with some nice slightly bitter sweeter juicy fruit hoppy notes again in the tropical fruit vein. It's very drinkable and tasty, nothing offensive and all, very nice. Nice bitter earthy aftertaste with hop esters.

The feel is good, rolls over nicely with decent carbonation.

I was worried this might turn out badly with the way they fill the growler straight from the tap without the correct tube method, but its still quite nice like I remember it from yesterday. Nice stuff!
