500ml bottle. #42/60 Pours a hazed gold with a frothy bright-white head. Rich retention with foamy lace. The aroma smells of ripe tropical and herbal hops with an accompanying fresh and zesty Brett character. The taste is similar, with a soft mix of sweet grains, tropical fruit, herbal tones and light zesty Brett flavor which lends this a bit of an earthy bitterness throughout. Dry, bitter and just very lightly funky on the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with an overall slick and creamy feel that still manages some crispness on the tongue. This was well done, with a delicious mix of hop and Brett flavors that went down very nicely. A beer for a good cause as well!

First had: on tap at TH

Hazy, golden-orange pour with a nice frothy white head that retained well and coated the glass with lace. A nice hit of spice in the nose up front, mellowed out to really more of a fruit medley, pine, notes of white wine. Taste was great, laid-back saison funk, white grapes, melon, peach, piney and leafy hops, green pepper, lesser flavors of citrus and peppery spice. Light-medium body, dry and crisp, easily drinkable. Yet another Tired Hands success.

Appearance: Hazy golden yellow, tons of lacing.

Smell: The sweetness of the New Zealand Hops comes through, but it definitely also smells bitter, slightly funky, and has a bit of lemon zest lingering in the background. Additionally, smells of ripe oranges and even mandarin orange sweetness is present.

Taste: Unique bitter New Zealand hops, lemon zest, slight black pepper.

Mouthfeel: Light-medium body with light-medium carbonation. Refreshing.

Overall: Really well done, enjoying the slightly spicy notes combined with distinct New Zealand hop bitterness as well as citrus flavors.
