Pours a hazy pale orange with a creamy medium white head along with nice lacing that lasted well throughout. Lots of pine, citrus, orange zest, and sweet malts were picked up in the nose. The same could be said for the flavor profile ā resinous-y, piney, and sweet nā juicy citrus. Medium and resinous with a dry earthy finish in the mouthfeel. Overall, a solid IPA!

From 09/05/12 notes. Had this on tap at the brewpub.
a - Pours a hazy pale yellow color with moderate carbonation evident and one finger of fluffy white head. Looks pretty nice.
s - Smells of citrus hops, lemons, grapefruit, tropical fruits, fruity malts, floral hops, and some light pine to it. Very nice nose, tons of hops and fruit. A lot going on, I really liked it.
t - Tastes of citrus hops, grapefruit, fruity malts, light pine hops, lemon zest, yeast, wheat, and grains. Taste is lightly bitter and not quite as hoppy or fruity as the nose. Still quite good.
m - Medium body and moderate carbonation. A light bitter bite in the mouthfeel. Pretty easy to drink.
o - Overall a very nice DIPA. The nose is awesome, full of fresh hops and fruits. The taste is lightly bitter and similar, though not quite as hoppy. A really good beer I'd like to have again.

Thanks to my brother, tenderbranson69 for sharing this growler with me, enjoyed chilled in a goblet. from the Tired Hands website: IPA. 7.2% Brewed with wheat and oats. Hopped intensely with Citra and Columbus. Other worldly and sticky.
-Notes of grapefruit, fresh pine needles, lemon zest, and dank stuff.
The color is like a mimosa-light golden and hazed like a fresh squeezed nectar with thick 2 finger cream cap with fine foam of head with lace stickage and good retention. The smell is like the rainforest, dank fruity and smells of hops with citrus zest and lots of floral and juicy grapefruity rind odors. The feel is resinous and slightly creamy from hop oils with a deep juicy oily hop filled feel with moderate carbonation and mild astringency level with a dank and bitter dry finish.
The flavor has a similarity to other TH IPA's with a nice zesty, citrus filled and somewhat tropical flavor yet not highly bitter on first taste with some nice sweetness to augment from malt and the yeast with slight fruit accents the gentle grassy aspect with nice tinge of sweet herbal vegetal hop matter giving a full rounded IPA taste you don't generally get from a filtered bottled IPA. This is a fresh tasting beer, almost green perhaps as it is less than 24 hours since it was tapped so I think I saw some hop particulate floating in the glass. I recommend this to those of you who like really dank hoppy and raw hop flavored IPA's - you know who you are.
