From 09/05/13 notes. Had on tap at the brewpub; this was my favorite beer they had on tap that day.

a - Pours a hazy, darker yellow-orange color with two inches of off white head and moderate carbonation evident.

s - Smells of mangos, tropical fruits, fruity malts, citrus hops, pine hops, pineapples, yeast, and floral notes. Nice nose, loads of tropical fruits to it, which is quite nice.

t - Tastes of melons, mangos, fruity malts, pineapples, citrus hops, grapefruit, pine hops, yeast, and earthy notes. Taste is amazing; way more fruity and tropical than the nose, and just really fresh. Loving the taste.

m - Medium body and low carbonation, with no bitterness to it at all. Very smooth and creamy; tastes less alcoholic than Mt. Sharp even thought it has a higher ABV.

o - Overall I loved this one; one of the better Tired Hands beers I've had. Super hoppy and fresh, and super fruity with a lot of tropical fruits, there is no bitterness and this was very easy to drink. Drank a growler of it the next day and it was still great. Would love to have it again.

32oz growler fill poured into a Tired Hands chalice.

A - Pours a very hazy, earthy yellow color, almost pastel like, with a small but dense 1 finger white head. The head recedes to a cap after a while and leaves spidery patches of lace.

S - Super juicy, fruity nose on this; lots of mango, peaches, kiwi, grapefruit. There are also some perfumy, floral notes happening, mainly a kind of earthy, grassy smell, and just the slightest hint of pine. I could just smell this stuff all damn day.

T - Taste follows the nose closely, with lots of tropical and citrus fruits jumping out in front. Sweet peaches, mango, grapefruit rind, a bit of lemon zest. The grassy, floral notes mesh seamlessly middle of the mouth. But my favorite part of this beer has to be the sweet finish, which has a melon quality to it, and hints of honey. Delicious.

M - Creamy and medium bodied, this DIPA goes down extremely easy, with no hint of the 8+ abv. Dry finish with lingering peach/melon sweetness.

O - Crazy good, and crazy drinkable. As soon as I had it on tap at the brewpub it immediately shot up to one of my favorite DIPAs. I should have bought more than one growler to take home.

First had: growler from TH

Poured into a Three Floyds teku, just to change it up a bit. Yellowish-orange pour, typical TH haziness with a small cap of creamy white head; nice retention and lacing. Great fruity aroma--citrus, tropical, stone fruit--leafy, mild malt sweetness barely detectable in the background. More of the same in the taste, showboating Simcoe and Centennial, orange, lime pith, pine, pineapple, grass, peach, sweet biscuity malts in the background. Intensely hoppy, but pretty mellow for an imperial, and the higher ABV was barely noticeable. Body was about medium. A dangerously drinkable DIPA overall.
