First had: on tap at TH
Cloudy golden-orange pour with a dense finger of white head that retained well and laced the glass nicely. Burst of fresh hops in the nose, citrus, tropical fruit, pine. More hop goodness in the taste, grapefruit, orange, apricot, light flowery sweetness, balanced with a firm grassy/piney bitterness. Medium body, slick mouthfeel, flowed nicely for a higher ABV brew. Easily among the greater TH IPAs.

Thanks to tenderbranson69 for sharing this, enjoyed from the growler in a teku.
The color is a lightly hazed golden amber with thick white cap which collapses to a ring and leaves a white film of lace. The smell is very aromtic with plenty of citrus and tropical hop aroma. The feel is very good with semi-resinous and moderately carbonated with a moderate bitterness level and generally low sweetness level with mild alcohol influence.
The taste is very dank with a lot of simcoe and citra characteristics with both grapefruit and mango with a light papaya and hint of tangerine in the array of tangy and citrus which brings a light acidic tinge but also a juicy sweetness compliments the herbal elements. Overall this is a very great Imperial IPA, not extremely bitter yet still chock full of hop flavor -the kind of Imperial ipa that doesn't focus on alcohol which is nice since you know it is strong but the hop flavor hides this component.
