32oz growler poured into a Tired Hands stemmed glass.
A - Pours a brilliant pale golden color with exceptional clarity. A thick finger of white foam forms briefly and falls to leave behind a thick collar and ample but uneven lacing on the glass.
S - Phenolic up front...bandaids and wintergreen. Coriander, oranges and assertive lemons. Sweet, grainy malt base. Herbal quality overall. Not getting any funk from the brett.
T - Heavy herbal quality in the flavor too. Quite a bit of phenols in here - almost overpowers just about everything. Pretty much matches the aroma - citrus and coriander with a low malt presence.
M - Rather thin in body with a light carbonation. Lemony tartness, cool herbal/phenolic character.
O - Overall...just ok. My second Tired Hands experience that has left me wondering a bit about the level of hype associated with this brewery. The beers haven't been bad, but I was expecting a lot more out of them. I would only say that they blend in with the crowd and really don't stand out. Wanna give them another try, but so far, I am not very impressed.

Thanks to Tim for sharing, growler courtesy of tenderbranson69 poured chilled in a tulip.
The color is peach with moderate hazed appearance with thick cream that collapses to a ring of beads. The smell is pretty citrus oriented with a light peppery odor with yeast phenolic element and slight nutty malt aroma. The feel is warm with a a light spiciness and gentle yeasty texture with mostly dry finish.
The taste has a bitter hoppy presence with mostly herbal flavor and some peppery spice and slight toasted malt aspect. The taste has a slight tangy citrus quality with juicy taste and mild fruity note from the pink peppercorns. This is a very good saison if you like a tropical hop and warmth of spice..it is drinkable and different.

First had: on tap at TH
Slightly hazy golden pour with a nice fluff of white head that retained decently and left spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma of lemony pith, grassy must, and a good dose of peppery spice. Taste of toasted wheat, lemon pith and rind, light crackery yeast notes, fresh-cracked peppercorns. Light-medium in body, soft carbonation, easily drinkable. A nice saison overall.
