Presentation: Big old 22oz silver sculpted can -- I love these things. Batch number, no freshess date.

Appearance: Pale yellow liquid with a very lively carbonation level. This forms a thin white lace that remains consistent for most of the brew.

Smell: Rather clean in its aroma with faint grain and floral hops.

Taste: Crisp and refreshing. Body is light, mouthfeel is a bit creamy due to the carbonation. Immediately there's a wonderful lemon/lime hop bitterness and mild sharpness that flushes and wakes the palate, its flavour lingers for a bit, then contributes a small dose of dryness on the palate. Malt flavours are very light with a balancing sweetness that is spot on for this type of brew. As the beer warms, malt flavours become more pronounced but I recommend drinking this beer cold. Finishes with faint residuals of both hop and malt characters.

Notes: This is the same beer that is sold in 12 and 16oz sizes, however we have to give the can it's due respect. Hands down, this brew is at the top of the list for some of the better mainstream lagers imported into the US. Goes extremely well with Asian dishes, working as an ideal palate cleanser.

This beer is a pale gold that has some brightness, and it has absolute clarity in its body. It grows more of a film than a head but a thick one, and that recedes to a wisp and some edging that does manage light spotting.
It's somewhat vegetal but not sloppily so with grains that, while prominent, don't domineer or go that oddly astringent direction that some beers can take. There's a bit of bright, fairly sweet citrus and a kiss of something floral. All in all, for a style that certainly seems like a weaker one, this holds down as average.
The body is light and goes semi-dry only toward the finish. It's quite crisp all the way, and more than moderately clean. It's got a bit of smoothness to it as well. Alcohol surprises with some unexpected heat partway through.

Drank it at my favorite sushi restaurant. Asian beer with asian food is a must. Poured from the large bottle a pale straw color. Lots of bubbles and a very quick fading head. No lacing at all.

Not much of an aroma. Light malts if anything.

Again, maybe lightly malty but overall not much taste.

Very light and crisp with a macro lager blandness and highly carbonated.

This is maybe one step above the American macros which isn't saying much. If it wasn't for the sushi I probably wouldn't drink it.

Served in a pint glass.

It's golden in color with a foamy white head. Very caronated.

It's a bit hoppy. The aroma isn't very strong.

It's a bit straw like. The beer has a pleasant bitterness.

It's fizzy and thin.

Overall, this beers ok. Not too memorable, but good enough.

Comes in a straw yellow color.

The taste is quite refreshing and works great with the umami of Japanese food. The adjunct in here isn't too strong, like some other American adjunct lagers.

There is a good maltiness and lacks hoppiness. However, the drinkability makes it a go to for me as an adjunct lager.

DATE TASTED: December 1, 2013... GLASSWARE: standard pilsner...OCCASION: Christmas tree-trimming and decorating... APPEARANCE: clear as crystal golden body; thin, filmy, off-white head; steady effervescence; thick, screening lacing is surprisingly attractive... AROMA: malty base; some bubblegum and dough--not really articulated... PALATE: a bit creamy; crisp and clear--surprisingly smooth...TASTE: woody aftertaste follows a swift, slightly metallically hopped profile; as macro lagers go, inoffensive...OVERALL: a good compliment for the pita chips I'm eating now--palate-cleansing and soft...

The can that it comes in is it's best attribute IMO, really cool looking can. The color was pale as expected. I didn't note a real distinct flavor that would make it enjoyable to me. Mouth feel was pleasant and finished dry. For it's style it certainly is right on and in the right circumstance, such as a sushi restraunt it has it's place. Just not a favorite style for me.

22 oz. bomber-sized can, says made in Canada,

A: Pours a pale yellow, with a soapy white head, spotty lacing.

S: Nice grassy noble hop aroma with hints of husky grain.

T: Malt and rice, very light flavor. Budweiser-esque with a little more hop character.

M: Light, fizzy, thin finish.

D: A fair lighter lager, lighter than regular Sapporo or Reserve, basically Budweiser with a Japanese label.

A- Nice yellow color with a touch of sediment. Good 1 fingre head that is slow to recede.

S- Floral, nice malty bouquet, lemon, apricot, touch of lime.

T- Very thin to start, but smooth with slight maltiness, and slight lime finish.

M- Pretty watery, but smooth.

D- If paired with food or a hot day, it would be pretty sessionable, but this is must a touch to thin.

Tall can from my friend's fridge

Pretty dark brown when poured into mug with a thick head that resembbled a mixture of soap and water

Smell was decent and rice took over the senses in taste as well

Taste does not last long because it is a pretty dry beer

Could drink more than one of these if desired
