Cool location, large outdoor area and plenty of space inside. Nice selection of local beer and good service. The food was good if a touch pricey for what it is, mostly burger focused with creative options that are still good, well made classic burgers even after you strip away the bells and whistles.

The pharmacy - Nashville burger parlor and beer garden
A lot goin on here, character overload, Belgians on tap, loads of quality bottles and cans. All sorts of burgers and other tasty treats. Funky staff, funky music.
Beat up, homey and comfortable atmosphere…and of
Course the large, inviting and equally funky beer garden…the world needs more places like this. I enjoyed a yummy chipotle Burger And a bearded Iris IPA…Gotta love Duvel and the like on tap
If in Nashville, I would recommend a visit here for beers and food.

Really interesting space with lots of patio seating. The beers were pretty good. I loved Homestyle. The service with pretty quick for a busy Friday night. 12-15 taps with a lot of bottles and cans. I loved my BBQ burger. Others were less impressed with their food. Still a pretty cool place.

Big, busy, noisy place. Went there on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. We were told it was an hour wait, but we snagged some seats at the bar. The bar seats a dozen or so. There's tables indoors and a huge outdoor patio/biergarten. Everyone seemed to be having a good time.
Twelve beers on tap, nice selection. Lots of bottles/cans with a huge German section. Again, a nice selection. I had a maibock, which was he official beer of Nashville's recent beer week. Very good. My wife and daughter had a Silly sour, followed by a Barbe sour. Both were well-received.
We all had burgers (what else do you order at The Pharmacy?). They were great.
Service was good, for a huge crowd.

This is a nice place with its own outside beer garden. Service was good not a huge selection of beers but good variety. Went on a Saturday at 4:55 and had to wait an hour for a table. Food was just ok, not the end all be all of burgers was not worth waiting for an hour. I had the wurst platter and while decent wasn't anything to get excited about, the burgers everyone else had were good. I'd definitely go back for a beer but I would skip the meal.

Brilliant burgers, I'll say that, although they tricked me into ordering the grilled onions which cost a $1.50 extra on top of a burger that already came with onion!!! (Finding that when I got the bill was such a let down that I have to give them a BIG loss on service numbers due to that). One bonus, however, is that they know how to do sweet potato fries right.
The servers know their beers, and they're really on top of things in such a busy environment.
As an added bonus it's right across the street from Mas Tacos Por Favor so you could go for a bite there and then grab a beer.

Went here with a group of guys before a wedding. Had early lunch/brunch and it was a great pleasant surprise. Big open patio with lots of room if it's nice outside. Plenty of room inside if not. There was definitely a line as we were leaving - being on the early side helped.
Burgers are pretty great, lots of options but not too crazy. Big but not too big, just right basically. Fair value for the price too.
The draft list was a big surprise - great seeing things like Founders Breakfast Stout on tap and St. Bernardus ABT 12 in bottles. Not the biggest selection but when items like that are available it's really hard to complain.
I'd definitely eat here again next time I'm in Nashville.

Burger and wurst joint with great outdoor seating. Short on selection but decent quality beer selection and excellent food make this place worth visiting.
Dreizhen's earlier review sums up the vibe extremely well. This is TN, not NC. Selection will be limited. That said, Pharmacy does a nice job offering some decent bottles and tap. The burgers are almost as good as home. I built my own with blue cheese, egg, and curry ketchup. Excellent. Worth a return visit.

One of the best burgers in Nashville short of hitting up Husk. Great environment with the backyard/biergarden/picnic area, especially on a nice day or a warm night. If you're into the hipster scene of East Nashville, this is probably the epicenter or close to it. It's still quite a fun time for those of us without the oddly arranged facial hair and glasses.
I know this is beer advocate, but it's worth trying their non-beer beverages, like their sodas. Beer selection is solid, though. Good selection and quality, plus some interesting beers you might not see elsewhere. Leans German.

A great atmosphere. Its a backyard setting with great beer, burgers and brats. The waiters don't interact with you that much but they try to make sure that you are well equip with water and your food. Sometimes getting more beer is a bit hard if your on the outdoor seating but it creates for great conversation. One of my favorite spots for hangout and great food.
