Poured from the can into a nonic(k) pint glass.
Unique off white orange tinged head, making about two fingers with some minimal styro-foam like retention. The body color is quite distinct, it's fairly dark orange and pink graperfruit like somewhat. Pretty opaque with a good light hue that almost gets whiter in color too.
Aroma is an impressive one note. It smells exactly like a fresh squeezed grapefruit, zest, oils, pith rind, and juicy sensing flesh that isn't overly sweet or tart but just right. However, it doesn't come off like beer but more of a fruit drink instead. Still it's really impressive.
Palate really pushes the right buttons for this sort of drink. Full solid mouthfeel, almost nearly dense, but a mid palate that is bursting with lush grapefruit that seems like the real thing, not candy like, not syrupy, and not artificial and overly sweet. Delicious finish, with even a touch of light tartness mixing in with the sweet grapefruit quality.
Real neat radler and a fun treat once in awhile.
