Nice beer. Bright and refreshing for an IPA. Not complex but very drinkable.

A: slight haze; medium gold in color; less than a 1 finger white head that receded to a splotchy cap; OK lacing;

S: bready with a hint of citrus and floral;

T: restrained; what’s there is floral with citrus and bread in the background; mild to moderate bitterness on the finish;

M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; lightly dry finish;

O: light body, light flavor; what's there is very good, but it's not a typical IPA;

12 oz. can

Pours cloudy yellow-gold with a creamy white foam head. Smells like crackery honey malts, lemon, grapefruit, orange citrus, passionfruit, pineapple, with floral earthy grassy pine. Tastes like crackery honey malts, lemon, grapefruit, orange citrus, passionfruit, pineapple, with floral earthy grassy pine. Feels medium bodied, creamy and smooth with moderate low carbonation. Overall a really nice IPA.

Ok, nobody share the news that these guys are on point now. Ill still be able to get these and not fight for them before they sell out. Every last one of their beers I have had over the past two months are on point and hoping it does not stop.

A: bright sunny d color with less haze, sticky lacing and

S: aromas of tangerine, light orange, pale malt, small passionfruit appearance

T: Fresh orange, mixed with tangerine and passionfruit along with some light mango. grapefruit at the end.

M: light mouthfeel, high levels of carbonation

O: Overall this is seriously about to be a new hit with all the locals. I never had this in the bottle format and had passed it by many times. Now that I have had Correspondent, Leaf Storm, was unable to get golden rose on the first release, these guys are legit when brewing at Hooker brewery and canning their releases. I hope this is a trend that just continues...

S- lemon peel, bright hops, hints of cut grass. Mild, floral hop aroma. overall very fresh, balanced, subtle but pleasing.
T- lemony hops, mild dank herbs, hint of melon. Taste is uniform from start to finish. Nice balanced bitterness at the finish from this responsibly hopped AIPA.
F- more carbonation than the norm, I'm into it, it's refreshing and suits the aroma and flavor. This would be a great summer IPA to have on a hot day.

O- refreshing, crisp, well balanced IPA. There is nothing weird or different about this beer, and it's aroma and flavor are mild but pleasant. I will reach for it again in the summertime.

Bottle dated 07/16/16 into pint glass. Pours a hazy straw color with a substantial eggshell-white head. Initial impression is orange peel and grapefruit, followed by resin and finishing with bready malt. Medium mouthfeel; carbonation is a little on the high side. Alcohol is well hidden. Not bad but not something that I would seek out.

Slightly murky golden color and there wasn't much of a head at all with a decent pour.

Aroma: floral, grassy, faint pine? getting citrus after about 1/3 of the glass has been tasted.

Taste: lemony, mild dry bitterness, herbal/medicinal again.. can't quite place exactly what, but it reminds me of a Ricola throat lozenge. sounds like it would be awful but theres a sweetness that balances it out and it stands out from most IPAs i've had.

Feel: I would say medium in body and in carbonation, slightly dry finish.

A- 12oz bottle pours into my tulip with a just about clear pale golden yellow body. The head is massive, shooting up to about 2 inches high with a foamy texture and great retention; like infinite retention. Massive sheets of lace all down the glass.

S- Musty tart lemon citrus from the hops leads the aroma as floral, herbal, dank and piney hints back that up. Becomes faint really quickly.

T- The lemony hops once again lead the way this time joined by a dank herbal feel upfront as well as slight stone fruit. A touch of melon in there as well. Not much beyond the somewhat light hops besides a hint of pale grains and bread. The dankness and the tropical fruit makes for a large improvement over the aroma.

MF- Medium bodied with a puffy and somewhat creamy texture. High end carbonation brings on a fluffy feeling and it all ends with a soft bitterness.

A sleeper as the aroma fails to provide what the flavor really has in store. The taste brings a pleasant balance of citrus, dank and stone fruits.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy burnt golden color with an inch of frothy white head that dissipates slowly. Good amount of lacing. Aromas of melon, light malts, peach, and tangerine. Some grassy hop notes. The taste is melon and peach with some bready malts. Light tropical fruits in the background with an herbal hop finish. Lota of carbonation with a slightly dry mouthfeel. Minimal alcohol presence. Overall, solid IPA I'd grab again.

L: Hazy with an orange and straw color.
T: Light yet fruity and hoppy, very smooth mouthfeel with a lingering sweet slightly malty finish.
S: slightly melon with a forward citrus kick.
O: A nice offering from a brewery very few are exposed too, malty, hoppy and fruity everything you need in a good APA.

Lasting, thick head that leaves a blanket of continual lace. Beautiful. Hazy, green-gold color.

Pale malt aroma with a clean, floral hop nose.

Traditional American styled IPA -- lots of peppery hop that starts from the beginning sip and lasts through the long aftertaste. The effervescence is light as is the body. So, it works for this beer.

Overall, a well made IPA with no faults but also little complexity.

Microbrew pour. A light colored, mellower, Northeast IPA. Fruity that fades to grassy. Sweeter hops and pale malt. Pretty decent but now everyone is doing this take on the IPA and what was once eye opening and appealing has become status quo.

Very impressed with this offering from Relic. I don't recall having anything from them that was this immediately recommendable. Reminds me of some of the IPAs from Maine Brewing. Hoppy but not overly bitter. Nice citrus aromas and flavors of mango, lemon and pineapple. Malts tend towards the grassy end of the spectrum. Pours golden and fairly clear in color, nice half finger of foamy white head. Alcohol is hidden to a large extend. Easily crushable on a warm day. Six packs of cans please, are you listening Relic? We need this.
