Really nice place to enjoy a good beer. Several options are showed and the environment is in general the perfect choice to drink beer. The staff is always open to heard any question or comment that you can have. Highly recommended. Cheers.

Pros:
Decent selection, they have 50 taps and plenty of bottles.
Proper pours, glassware, clean lines and beers generally cared for in a way you would expect from a top notch craft beer bar.
Neutral:
They save a lot of limited and barrel aged beers for special events. Sure, it's great being able to sample a bunch of limited beers at these events. The problem is the tap list is so mediocre at other times. I've been following their tap list on and off for the last two years and I've been disappointed often.
Cons:
The biggest problem here is cost. A 4 beer sampler (16oz) will run you about $12-24. Food and standard size beers are still expensive.
4 beer samplers, a 10oz pour and two dinners ran me over $100 (not including tip).
Bottle selection seems to be pretty stale as does the food menu. The menu hasn't been overhauled in years.
Overall:
I've been fairly critical in this review because I think these are the items your want to know if your reading. This is still a great place to visit, especially if you don't come by often.

Definitely check this place out. I think the beer comes in small portions so that they can offer it to more customers?? If that's the case, it's cool, but FYI a lot of them are 8 or 6 oz servings at $6 a pop. Still a great place to visit, Philly cheesesteak is amazing.

This is my favorite local place to go out for a couple beers, or to sample several different things at a reasonable price. They boast an enormous, ever-changing selection on tap. It's a nice, cozy, inviting environment, albeit a bit dark even during the day. Friendly, prompt and knowledgable waitstaff. Solid food choices.

Excellent place to go for a CRAFT beer in SE Michigan. Highly recommend it for selection, food, service and best of all an off the wall beer here and there. Tell Jason, Scott and Brad hello when you are there. They will take care of you. Friend them on facebook and you can keep up with current specials and at the moment new taps.

This place is located right off the M-59 and Crooks in Rochester Hills, so its easy to get to. We went on a Friday night and got call ahead seating and were seated right as we got there. I ordered a Backwoods Bastard (it was not on the menu, but I saw it in the fridge) and the wife ordered a Goose lsland Pere Jacque. The atmosphere is like a sports bar in the fact that it had about 15-20 TV's. I thought it was neat that they had some old globes in the ceiling in part of the restaurant. Most of the decor was old Detroit sports memorabilia, which is always cool to see. But, I wasn't there to watch the Wings, I was there to browse their impressive beer list. This place is the craft beer enthusiast's headquarters. They have a great tap list, a great bottle list and even the Captain's list, which is a list of great craft beers that are hard to find. One that stuck out from this list was the King Henry. You can also get 4 beers on a paddle for a reasonable price. I selected a Hoppy beer from Napa Valley, Chicory Stout, Sierra Nevada Northern Hemisphere, and Jolly Pumpkin's brown ale (forgot the name). The server was very helpful and friendly, even though I think he was still learning about the beer. One great thing that they have is the beers on deck. Since they go through a lot of beers on draft, they keep a list going of what will be tapped next. Awesome selection of craft beer, and even though they had a great selection of Michigan craft beer, part of me wished that they had more from Michigan. As far as food, I had Nifty's choice burger, which was great. The wife had a great antipasta salad which she enjoyed. She says that even the cheese in the salad melted in her mouth. The value was great, had dinner, a beer, and a paddle for around $40. We'll be back again and often. If you love craft beer, then this is the place for you.
