Pours clear, gold, in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is honey, grass, and grain. Light bodied, sweet, with high carbonation. My favorite German pilsener that I tried at my recent trip to a German food restaurant. Could drink this one all day. Really well done.

L: Pours a clear golden color, gives a small top of head that disolves rapidly. some lacings on the sides of the glass.

S: Sweet malts, biscuits grass, grains, floral hops, and some slight honey notes.

T&F: Follows the aroma quite closely, grains, grass and floral hops, with sweet malts in the background, good lenght in the finish and aftertaste. Mouthfeel is smooth and refreshing. medium bodied with medium carbonation.

O: I was enjoying this one, simple but smooth and enjoyable. As the other styles from this brewery i tasted, this one did not disapoint either.

Smells of old man pub. Tastes meh. No carbonation. Perfectly pleasant, adequate at best. I wouldn't turn it down, but won't buy it again and will have forgotten it in the minutes time

Thank you, Praveen, Sigita.

Pouring a clear gold with a dense, off-white head that falls off to a ring rapidly, this looks great. The nose is soft, doughy, mildly honeyed, with a firming hop character (mint, earth, lemon), a delicate fullness (honey, biscuit, bread). Delicious and layered. The palate opens soft, mildly bitter and with a nice blend of hop flavors to complement the bitterness with the lemon and earth pairing nicely with the firm, mildly hay-like bitterness. This is followed by a delicate honeyed malt character, super flavorful and layered, lending a medium body to this beer. Long, soft, silky smooth finish with an appropriately prickly carbonation, this beer is pretty excellent. Very highly recommended.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a two finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of grainy biscuit malt, grassy, lightly floral hops, light apple juice, hint of lemon. Flavor follows with grain, biscuit malt, grassy hops, light fruit juice; flavor tapers off a bit, but then finishes with pleasant grain and lingering grassy hops. Medium bodied with a light creaminess. Nothing exciting here and a low key traditional style, but everything comes together to deliver a classic biscuity German lager, not complex, but plenty of flavor. The finish was revealing to me; quite a number of recent standard ABV beers (4-6%) have really had attenuated finishes and I was wondering if it wasn't just that my expectations had become too high. This, while not full flavored, shows that a moderate ABV beer can deliver good flavor throughout in to a satisfying finish. Nice and clean for the style. Came in a sensible brown bottle instead of the clear one shown in the photo here; gratefully appreciated for an import.

11.2 oz flip top bottle in a Willi Becher glass.

Darkish yellow-gold color with a 1F white head that fades to a fat skim, nice lacing. Clear and bubbly.

Floral and pungent spice hops, sweet biscuit malt.

Grains, dry biscuit, floral hops are pilsner-like. Strong lager flavor.

Not light, full bodied for a lager. Dry and bitter. Clean finish with no aftertaste.

Likeable, drinkable throwback.

Pours a pale gold. Aroma is sweet and malty with a hint of apple. Taste is like the smell. Slightly sweet malt with a fruity apple notes. Pretty simple, clean lager.
