Best Fish and Chips in town!

Solid Irish pub in the mall area of Mandalay Bay. Rather small draft selection, but a good mix of Irish, euro, and local beers. A small selection of bottles and cans as well. An impressive selection of whisky behind some glass in the dining room as well, if you need a dram. Worth a drink if you’re at Mandalay Bay.

 

 

 

 

 

Located in the mall area in Mandalay Bay, and just down a bit from the Burger Bar. There is a smallish bar right at the front entrance, followed by another room with larger bar. Loads of dark woods and Irish themed nic nacs are all over the place. There are enough TVs showing sports here too. Interstingly as I wandered to the back of the place there were two other smallish bars in other rooms, and one area had a small stage for live entertainment.

There were 15 beers on tap - some of the typical Irish pub staples like Boddingtons, Hoegarden, Guiness, Newcastle, Carlsburg, and Kilkenny Irish Red. But there were a few interesting additions here such as Sculpin, Delerium Tremens, and Lagunitas IPA. As with most bars in LV there was a Sin City Amber and Fat Tire also on draft.

There were plenty of bottles in the refridgerators behind the bar - I saw Moose Drool, Affligem, Ballast Point Wheat, and Deschuttes Obsidian Stout to name a few.

I enjoyed two Sculpins which were very fresh. I did not eat any of the food. The service was prompt and friendly.

The best thing about this place is that it offers an alertnative to the Burger Bar if you can't get a seat. Not a bad place overall, but expect high pint prices here.
