This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like boozy sweet bourbon, sweet and sticky vanilla, and chocolate fudge.
There's a lot of vanilla here, as both vanilla bean and marshmallow were added. It's got a little bit of an overly sweet booziness to it, with a bit of prickly astringency as well. The chocolatey base stout works well, though.
This is medium bodied, and definitely a slow sipper, as it's big, thick, and boozy.
This brewery is fairly good at big boozy pastry stouts and strong ales. This isn't their best, but it was still fun to try.
