16oz tallboy can, sample from the brewery.

Pours bright and bubbly golden hued brew, decent retention with the lacing. Subtle apricots, noticeable tartness, & a faint bread grain in the nose. Just enough crispness to liven this brew up, tartness is spot on with a kiss of fruit. Moderate body lets the flavors flow, skin to pit apricot flavors in the middle to end. Very well done, great balance here and the tartness does not go overboard.

Perhaps nestled in the midwest Evansville, Indiana landscape, but their hearts couldn't be any more in Belgium as unleash a superior clean lactic sourness that's deeply woven into the foundation of apricot fruit.

Damascene pours with a bright golden-straw color. Its brilliant sparkle showcases the steady dance of carbonation that races to the brim. While casting more of a champagne-like zest, it fills the nose with the distinctive twang of light and sour fruit, dry white wine and earthen balsa, cork and burlap. Its supple sweet taste is light of powdered sugar and soft wheat.

While the confectioner's sweetness dissolves quickly on the tongue, the sourness ushers in. First, the beer's base lactic sourness charges in with citrusy lemon and lime. Then come the under-ripe variety of berry and crabapple, and lastly the apricot provides its own sweet, earthy and condensed tropical character that commands the bulk of taste from middle palate onward.

Challenging each and every tastebud, the strong sourness puckers the mouth, tightens the jaws and evokes the saliva glands with its strongly piquant but clean sour taste. Finishing with warhead candy sweet and tart interplay, the beer's finish is dry, vinous and lightly of rice-wine vinegar. The return of true apricot fruit, earthy burlap and whole wheat bread all gently roll over a fast-acting aftertaste.

Had on-tap at the Yard House in Indianapolis. Poured into a goblet.

L: Clear glowing golden pour. Thin white head leaves a rim of lacing.

S: Apricot and peach. Stone fruits and tartness.

T/F: Dry grains and fruit juice. The apricot is strong and tasty. Not sour... sweet fruit is well balanced by tartness. Overall somewhat simple but a nice melange of flavors. Medium to light in body. Low carbonation.

O: A very tasty sweet/tart fruit beer. Great apricot flavor... really enjoyable on a warm summer night.

16 ounce can, best before (pull by) date of 09/10/2016 printed on the bottom of the can. Served in a tulip, the beer pours a slightly hazy golden/orange color with about an inch off-white head that didn't stick around for too long. There's a small amount of lacing. The brew smells like apricots and bready/grainy malt. It tastes like apricots, bready/grainy malt, earthiness and some lactic tartness. There's a good amount of sweet and tart flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit slick with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was an enjoyable sour ale, I'd drink this again in the future. $3.49 for a single can.

The beer comes in a medium hazy straw color.

The aroma hits of some lactic bite, reminders of gose without the salt and coriander, or a Berliner, hints of stone fruit.

The flavor offers with big apricot flavor with dried apricot and candy. With a medium lactic tart, with a light grain wheat flavor, dry finish with some more lingering apricot candy sweetness.

stomach acid and aspartame. one of the worst beers i've ever had. a few of the beers i've had from tin man have been okay, albeit pedestrian, but this one is entirely offensive. avoid at all costs.

Decent sour out of a 16 oz can. A lot of lemon acidity. Some vinegar. Decent apricot flavor. Easy to drink.

Enjoyed at Tin Man Brewery in Evansville IN on a flash-flood night.

Appears cloudy gold. Light white head in Tin Man snifter.

Nose a little fruity. Not bad. Subtle.

Taste very nice. Light but full of apricot tartness. Easy to drink and very sessionable warm weather brew. I'd compare to a Berliner Weissbier more than a traditional Belgian sour ale, though. Would order this again, for sure.

Poured from a 16oz can into a snifter. Hazy golden color with some head and lacing. Little aroma but great apricot taste! Just getting into sours and this isn't too acidic.

16oz can split between a pair of Cantillon glasses. Bate on the bottom is 8/18/2016.

Pours a pale hazy yellow with a small head and not much carbonation. Smell is tart, unripe peaches, greens. Taste is very fruity and pretty sour. I get lemon and apricot for sure. Moderate sweetness to go along with the tartness. This almost reminds me of a radler, but with a sour beer to start.

Mouthfeel is medium and smooth. Overall, tasty and refreshing, but not amazing.

Pale yellow in color, with a small white head. Smells a bit more funky than it is. Flavor is sweet and sour with stove fruit. Medium light body with moderate carbonation, and a dry finish. Overall an interesting and tasty brew.
