This is adjacent to a gaz station, in theory it is its convenience store. Thus, a little unfair to compare it to other beer places (that is reflected in my grades), but as a convenience store it is the coolest I have been by far. It has a great beer selection inclusing some good Brazilian choices such as Colorado (e.g. Vixnu), Bamberg and Backers. Also, they have a good selection of Belgians, English and American. Just grab them in the refrigerator and take them to the cashier, and they will give you a glass if you want to drink it in one of a few tables outside. They also have a on-line delivery service, though some selections end up not to be readly available.
The main downside is its service, the two girls over there are kind of rude (not the better educated person in the wine section) which is quite rare in Brazil, they should be sisters or close friends given the odds (again service in a 7 eleven would be worse...).

Well, this was an unexpected stop before heading into Sergio's apartment. Or was it? I was in the car with two other beer geeks, but I was thinking to myself "How many more beers do we need?" I was further surprised when we parked at a Shell gas station, however when I was the exterior of the store, I knew I wasn't walking into some ordinary mini-mart.
It's not exciting on the inside, but it is clean and well stocked. Several cooler of beer, plus addditional bottles stocked at store temperature. Unlike some bottle shops in Brazil (I'm looking at you, Costi Bebidas), it is actually air-conditioned on the inside, so quality of the product is less of a worry than at other places.
While there is a portion of the beer inventory of Brazilian identity, much of the beers are imported. You can find Falke, Colorado, and Paulistânia here, and also imports like Kwak, St. Feullien, Hook Norton, Achel, Badger, Marstons, Erdinger. Assorted pieces of glassware are offered, and in addition to bottles, gift packs of beer are available too.
Prices are listed for the beers, however the prices can be described as erratic. You can find a good deal on a few items, such as Paulistânia for R$3.90 or Rochefort 10 at R$25.90. And you can find some products being more expensive, such as Falke's 600 ml beers, at R$23.90.
If this part of São Paulo is in your reach, it may be worth checking out Adega Tutóia.
