Soda like carbonation, root beer like smell and flavor. Roasty notes, maybe some rum, thin but somewhat grainy mouthfeel. Nothing like eggnog anywhere, which I suppose might have been a good call. This beer is good, just not really what you'd expect from the description on the label.

Appearance - The color of the beer is brownish black with a mocha colored head. There is variation in the color.

Smell - This beer smells like Vanilla Coke with Christmas trees.

Taste - Right of the bat, I notice the carbonation is huge. The carbonations just reinforces the fact that I am drinking Vanilla Coke. Toward the back, I note an aftertaste of Peppermint Schnapps. I can't get over the Vanilla Coke taste here.

Mouthfeel - The carbonation is just to big for a milk stout. Did they have to force more carbonation to make up for all the stuff they added?

Overall - I like unique beers, so I kind of like this one.

Nailed it on the aroma. Smells exactly like eggnog. The flavor came across a little too minty/mouthwashy to be worthy of more than 8 oz at a time though. Also a bit on the boozy side. Glad I got to try it though.

Smells like boozy Christmas. Has a very unique mouthfeel, like if you swish it around it gets foamy and thicker. Really different and delicious. Grab one if you can

Rum barrel aged egg nog milk stout. Oh hell yeah

Nice chocolaty flavor and the egg nogg spices really come through. Aged in rum barrels making this the perfect winter toddy

Really weird, but in a good way. Pours beautiful with a vigorous head. Nice lacing. Rum barrel notes are heavy and nice. The spices are well balanced and not overbearing at all. Every sip is better than the last and I went against my original plan by opening the growler for a 2nd serving. Such a unique and delicious beer. Highly recommended.

Big thanks to @jshari223 . Nice boozy body, heavy chocolate and roasted coffee notes. The eggnog comes through perfectly, not overwhelming the beer at all. The finish has great spicy swirls with a hint of sweet vanilla milkshake. I need more!
