750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Bottled on 4/4/2014.

Appearance - Deep dark brown. Nice khaki head. Lasts quite a while.

Smell - Generically fruity. Dark roast. Some bright yeasty acidic notes. Very light berry aroma.

Taste - Again, generically fruity. More of a berry flavor than the nose implied. Dark roasted malt. Earthy brett flavors. Funky finish.

Mouthfeel - Well carbonated. Mild acidity.

Overall - It has a very odd finish. Otherwise, it's ok.

Bottle brought in to share by Curran, thanks man!

Pours a light garnet red, with a half inch head, and a little bit of lacing.

Smells quite fruity, I get blackberries and grapes, but not really anything that would suggest to me that this is a saison.

The taste suggest the same thing. The fruit here is nice, but it gets tiring because it's really the only thing you get from this. If you try really hard, you can find a little bit of black pepper, but other than that, it's all blackberry and grapes. It gets cloying near the end due to this.

This is light bodied, with a sweet and fruity mouthfeel, and a moderate level of carbonation. Not all that drinkable, due to the sweetness.

This didn't quite work- it tasted alright, but it failed as a saison.
