Here's a beer Sheldon brought to March Madness 2017.

Pours a darker yellow color leaning into amber with a thin white head 1/4". Has that signature big musty grape smell. Done well over a french oak barrel. Smells sour but not alcoholic.

Taste boasts a big impact from the grapes again. Sourness is middle of the road. Same with the acidity, perhaps both slightly above average. Carbonation was good, brett character was sizeable and contributed to one of the chewier wild ales. Did a good job hiding the alcohol, I was quite concerned looking at the abv, I tend not to like the higher abv wild ales. This was an exception to that general rule. If you dig on white grape, french oak and a big abv sizeable brett beer, this might be your jam.

With any Side Project beer, often the lack of availability and the high cost when it actually is available, tends to be the only issues causing me to not go after more bottles. Try it once for sure.

Pour is golden yellow, lightly hazed, with lots of fizzy white head. Nose has a strong oak presence, a bit of white grapes, and notes of acetic acid. Flavor is murky, really strong oak presence, light white grape and some peaches, light acidity. Oak gets a little strong and doesn't mix too well with all the Brett. Lighter carb on a medium body and a fairly bitter finish.
