About 3 fingers of khaki pillow head. Good retention and excellent lacing. Body is dark brown, almost black, with redish hues around the outside of the glass when held to light.
Bretty, lemon, orange, some horse blanket, underlying malt presence with hints of coffee, unsweetened chocolate, and leather.
Tart citrus, including lemon and orange. Maybe some tart cherry. Middle drys out with leather and unsweetened chocolate. Finishes with more citrus and bitter coffee grounds.
Light bodied and effervesent.
Reminds me of a tart chocolate orange left to collect dust on a dark cupboard shelf...in the best way possible. Really well integrated and balanced flavor profile.

Pour is black with a tight tan head leaving a small but nice lace. Nose is light but has a decent roasted malt presence, a hint of molasses, with a moderate citrusy brett. Flavor is a touch sweeter, more citrus, more singular, some acidity in the back, roasted malts aren't as present as in the nose. Soft feel, light body, strong carbonation.
