Pours a nice honey color with 3/4 inch head (in a burgundy glass - wide wine glass). Lots of lacing. citra and citrus prevail on the nose, maybe a hint of peach or mango and a dry, clean malt smell with a sweetness to it maybe contributing to the seeming fruitiness of the beer. taste citrus and again maybe mango with a light malty aftertaste. very smooth but more of a separation between first and second flavors than the current morph, which is very similar but more balanced. I tasted it at the brewery next to the morph as well as from a can the next day and taste was consistent.

As always gotta thank the brother-in-law Kevin for gifting me Boston goodies. Canned on 06/03/15.

A- Tallboy can pours a deep golden brew, mostly clear, into my large snifter. A crown rises up over a finger with a texture between foamy and creamy. Good retention while lacing forms in sheets.

S- Hops , for the most part. Pungency from those flowers with a profile of passionfruit, mango, oranges, tangerine, pineapple and flowers; just a hint of resin. I wouldn't call it juicy somehow, not a tropical bomb compared to many recent IPAs. Yeast is clean as a whistle and pale grain hints is stretching it.

T- For me the hop profile takes a pretty drastic turn somehow. It becomes very resinous (not harsh bitter) and floral at this juncture with herbal tones and then the aforementioned fruits. Tropical, stone fruit, grapefruit and citrus towards the back end. Yeast is still mostly clean and the grains just hint with a pale cereal character.

MF- Creamy texture to a medium overall body. Carbonation towards the high side but lacks that edge I seek in IPAs. Finishes with a medium-high bitterness.

A good but not great IPA when all is said and done. It started out very fresh and bright but as time went by some of that was lost and a floral, resinous character took over.

Juicy, Citrus, Bitter, Herbal

Clean and crisp with a heavy hand of hop bitterness, Santilli is so damn juicy with hints of rind, guava, pineapple skin and an earthy herbal flavor. Sip after sip the bitterness does not let up but it never goes overboard, either. Night Shift finally joined the tallboy IPA club; it's a tough group to be in but this beer proves more than worthy. Will it become the next hyped northeastern IPA? Perhaps. Seek it out regardless.

Can poured into a tulip.

Beautiful hazy golden orange hue. Nice head, though it dissipated rather quickly and did not leave any lacing.

Very bright and tropical fruit nose.

Got some great bitterness and bite on there. Very bright IPA, though not as fruity as the nose would suggest. Kind of reminds me of a brighter tasting Two Hearted.

Overall, it this is a great IPA and if I lived in MA it'd probably be one of my go-tos.

Pours a hazy golden orange color with a finger of white head.

Aroma is like many other east coast IPA's in the fact that it's very sweet and juicy. Get candied grapefruit, orange marmalade, overly ripe pineapple, and a touch of dank from the hops. All of this is rounded out by a nice sugary sweetness.

Taste follow the aroma quite well. Get juicy, candied grapefruit, orange, and pineapple up front that transitions into a dry, grapefruit peel/pine resin bitterness on the finish. There's some lingering juicy pineapple underneath the bitterness. Light dankness throughout.

Medium body. Smooth carbonation and creamy. Little oily on the finish, but quite clean overall.

This is a great IPA. Nothing about this beer is mind-blowing, but it has everything I like in an IPA. Juicy, bitter, balanced, but yet hop-forward.

A-two fingers of pillowy off white head. Fairly clear golden body with honey hues. Moderate visible carbonation. Excellent retention and lacing.

S-piney, resinous. Some citrus peel. A little tropical fruit hiding in the back. Honey.

T-A little pine to start. Quickly followed by tropical fruit. Followed up by some sharp, bitter citrus rind. Finish is sweet and tropical with moderate bitterness. Grows more and more bitter with each sip.

M-medium body and carbonation. Alittle bit sticky finish.

O-not my favorite of the morph series but a solid choice for a regular offering. Nice, complex flavor profile, but a little too bitter of the course of 16 oz for my tastes.

This was the first hoppy beer I've had in a long time that really impressed me that wasn't from a brewery starting with the letters "tr". Light, juicy, fruity, delicious. Very easy to drink, not too bitter. I like the can design too.

Canned 2/10/16, so a few days under two weeks old. Appearance is typical, but with a massive, frothy, bright white head and it's unfiltered, so it gets points for that. Literally smells like freshly squeezed tropical juice. Wow. There's some resin and other hop qualities, but this is all juicy fruit all the way. Flavor/taste is massive tropical fruit, but also some pine-like hop qualities. Feel is quite dry and rather resinous, while remaining juicy and refreshing...if that's possible. And unique and exceptional American IPA. I should have bought a 4-pack instead of just a single can.

I will never tire of cracking a can of Santilli and getting that immediate dank smell of bud. This is absolutely my favorite Friday night after work weekend starter treat!

Pretty can.

Canned on 1/13, consumed on 1/23.

Pours light and medium hazy with a solid, bone white head. Smells sharp and fresh: tangy hop profile with some pine and some mango, against a malt that's way too syrupy for a beer of this strength.

Thankfully the syrup malt doesn't come through nearly as strong in the flavor as it does in the aroma. Hops take center stage, with a start that's old school midwest, almost straight up 2 Hearted, that mellows out and finishes on some more contemporary nodes of tropical fruit. Very nice hopsmanship--reminds me of something from Three Floyds. Unfortunately the malt and yeast profiles aren't quite up to snuff. Still a real good beer, though.

This was a very fine piney, grassy, resiny IPA with moderate bitterness throughout and a crisp, refreshing mouthfeel. Good for the style, but nothing special, and not really what I'm looking for these days, but still enjoyable.

Tall can, 01/11/17

Pairs medium turbid, under an initially large and fluffy off white cap, leaves nice looking fields of sheeting.

Sweet tropical fruits on the nose, with pineapple coming to mind, pungent and pleasant,

Super tasty IPA, tropical goodness, with again pineapple, mongo, guava, all with a resiny hop finish....delicious...love the style and this one hits the note pretty darn well

An above average American IPA. Taste is very herbal and wet hoppy, with a bit of earth and toasted malt backbone. A nice sipper that I was happy to find on tap. However, I do prefer other IPAs from Night Shift.

Hazy golden soapy head. Nose is dank, candied orange peel. Taste is dank, earthy, pretty assertive, moderate to high bitterness that builds. Not super drinkable. This definitely reads more west coast IPA than NE. OK.

Poured a very hazy orange color with two fingers worth of foamy white head that sticks around. The nose is a lot of tropical fruit, maybe some melon before you get a hint of pine. The flavor follows suit as you get a mixture of fruits upfront. The piney bitterness is more prominent in the flavor and melds well with the fruit. The feel is medium with a good amount of carbonation. This is an outstanding IPA!
