Santilli is our flagship American IPA, named after the brewery’s street address in Everett, MA. Its recipe was voted into production by our fans in 2015. The next year, Santilli won the Bronze Medal in the American IPA category at the 2016 World Beer Cup.

The beer pours bright gold with a nose of grapefruit zest and pine needles. Begins with big citrus flavors and a light, malty sweetness. Finishes clean, pleasantly bitter, and crisp. A boldly flavored, beautifully balanced, smooth-sipping IPA for every occasion.

12oz can. Amber-coloured, citrus and resin AIPA. Nicely bitter with a solid mouthfeel. A little bit old school and all the better for that. Good stuff.

This brew pours somewhere between amber and gold. It's fairly hazy with a slightly off-white one-finger head. Not and NEIPA juicebomb. Instead, lots of citrus (grapefruit) and pine. It's well-balanced and thirst-quenching. A solid flagship to represent this Mass. brewery.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a slightly hazy color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades slowly over time and leaves a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strongest of a caramel and tangerine smell mixed with some aromas of an herbal and earthy hop. Along with these smells comes a bit of grapefruit and a touch of wheat and bread.
Taste – The taste begins with a slightly bready and cracker malt flavor mixed with some caramel and tangerine and a decent showing of a herbal and earthy hop. As the taste advances some flavors of a grapefruit hop and a touch of floral flavor develop, mixed with a touch of grain. Toward the end, there is some more dankness and hay that comes to the tongue, leaving one with a rather clean hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a moderate carbonation level. Overall the feel is good for the brew and makes for an easy sipper.
Overall – A rather tasty and easy drinking brew with a good taste and feel. Rather nice and one worth a try.

An inviting 1/2-3/4" white foam head over a slightly obscured pale golden body with minor particulate -- one of the best looking brews I have seen. Scent is of crisp, floral hops along with hints of pine and citrus. Taste adds a bit of tropical fruit (melon/pineapple?) flavor to the mix. Feel is medium bodied, verging on smooth/creamy at times, and yields a classic NEPA aftertaste. Delightful offering, especially in these warming months.

This beer is delightfully crisp with prominent floral notes and hints of citrus. Its simplicity makes it the perfect whenever beer, and it certainly pairs well with bar food.

Scouring the streets at night trying to figure out a name for a beer is hard work. While coming up with an award winning beer comes easier, the branding of such beer is as tough as the streets. Then it hits you...

Santilli comes crawling out of the glass with a glowing light gold translucence before building a frothy swath of sea foam. As a tantalizing scent of citrus, tropical fruit and berry tease the nose, so does a suggestive spruce, grassy and herbal perfume. Light sweetness of wafer, honeysuckle and fresh bread brings a malty introduction to the very first sip.

And as the ale flows across the tongue, the middle palate opens up to the hops and all of its white grapefruit, under ripened orange and lemon impressions. White hints of gooseberry, passionfruit and green papaya add to the fruity complement, the ale quickly turns bitter for a late taste of freshly torn pine needles, fresh grass clippings, verbena, lemongrass, green tea and dry hemp.

Medium bodied, creamy and drying, the resinous finish is a welcomed taste for crispness, refreshment and drinkability and with an off-clean peppery resinous character that extends into a spicy aftertaste of citrus peel, herb and pine.

Pours a somewhat opaque yellow-gold color with a decent head, hops dominate the aroma. Taste is predominantly hop - grapefruit, a bit piney. Definitely not in the NEIPA league which i think is a good thing. Malt backbone balances things out without being too sweet or overbearing. An enjoyable beer and worth trying.

Color is light copper, not clear through. Head was off white color and quickly faded to nice lacing. Nose was citrus and piney. Taste was like nose, citrus and gave off a bit of bitterness. Superb beer.

Cloudy amber appearance with a large, lasting, rocky, white head that left plenty of lacing. Aroma blasted right through without waiting for the head to recede, all hopped up on citrus and resin. Taste delivered on the citrus as grapefruit ruled. Notes of pine were in there as well. Modest amount of melon arrived near the finish. Fairly bitter, medium bodied mouthfeel. Solid offering.
