Morph, poured from a 16oz can into a Fort Hill 20oz mug. Cloudy, foggy orange, not super aromatic, thin yet insistent drapage. A fine hoppy offering indeed. Rye is featured in this edition, so on the dry side but sessionable for sure.

Bright yellow in color. Turbid. Heavy on the rye. Spicy, fruity and bitter. Pineapple. Semi sweet. Lots of grapefruit and pine. Super dry. Solid effort.

All the beers in the Morph series are expertly crafted and delicious. You know what you're getting with this beer; comes down to whether or not you're a fan of rye - it drives the mouthfeel and finish, which is dry, earthy and has a lingering spiciness and bitterness. The rye combines with the moderate malt profile to whittle down the strength of the hops' profile and makes this Morph less citrus, floral and tropical than usual (in both aroma and taste) which is a nice change of pace. Nice variation of the style that's less citrus-crisp but has a spicy snap that's enjoyably dry.
